This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of science through the application of the discovery learning model on plant material of grade VI of Surusunda 01 Karangpucung State Elementary School. This research is motivated by the low activity and learning outcomes of science of grade VI students of Surusunda 01 Karangpucung State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were 18 grade VI students of Surusunda 01 Karangpucung State Elementary School. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research design used is the Discovery Learning model which includes the stages of planning, implementation of actions and observations, after reflection. The data collection instruments used are observation sheets, individual questions and student activity in learning. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the data analysis results in the first cycle, meeting I, student activity showed 58% with an average score of 74, and meeting II showed 75% with an average score of 85. After improvements were made in the first cycle, namely in the aspects of orientation, formulating simple hypotheses, and formulating conclusions, student activity increased. Based on the data analysis results in the second cycle, discovery learning showed 58% with an average score of 74, and meeting II showed 75% with an average score of 85. The results of the study indicate that the discovery learning model can improve science learning activities and outcomes in grade VI of Surusunda 01 Karangpucung Elementary School. This increased student activity, formulating simple hypotheses, collecting data, and formulating conclusions.
