Abstract

This study entitled "Study of Dosage of N Fertilizer and Goat Manure on the Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium Ascalonicum. L)". The aim was to study the effect of N fertilizer and goat manure on the growth and yield of shallot plants. Implementation on 18 November 2022 to 20 January 2023 in Senayu Hamlet, Tunggur Village, Kec. Slogohimo, Kab. Wonogiri, Central Java. The method used is RAKL Factorial with 2 factors. Factor 1 was goat manure (K) with 3 levels, including: K0 = Control, K1 = 100 g/plant, and K2 = 200 g/plant. Factor 2 is the dose of N fertilizer with 4 levels, as follows: D0 = No treatment, D1 = 0.5 gr/plant, D2 = 1 gr/plant, and D3 = 1.5 gr/plant. So that from the design there are 12 combinations and repeated 3 times. Parameter data were analyzed using ANOVA and then continued using the 5% level DMRT test. The conclusion shows that the dose of N fertilizer affects the observation of the number of leaves, the application of goat manure affects the observation of plant height, tuber diameter, and tuber fresh weight per plant. The interaction of N fertilizer doses and goat manure does not affect all parameters.

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of Manure Types on Growth and Yield of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.)" was carried out from 1 August to 4 September 2022 in Blimbing Village, Purwantoro District, Wonogiri Regency, with brown latosol soil type and an altitude of 296 meters above sea level. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of various types of manure on plant growth and yield, as well as to determine the type of fertilizer that gives the highest yield on green lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor, namely the type of fertilizer. The treatments in this study were without manure (K), chicken manure 16.98 grams/plant (A1), chicken manure 33.96 grams/plant (A2), chicken manure 50.94 grams/plant, (A3), cow manure 5.65 grams/plant (S1), cow manure 11.30 grams/plant (S2), cow manure 16.95 grams/plant (S3), goat manure 11.30 grams / plant (G1), goat manure 22.60 gram / plant (G2) and goat manure 33.90 gram / plant (G3). Each treatment was repeated 3 times, so there were 30 polybags with 2 plants per polybag. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variety, followed by Duncan (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that the different types of manure treatment affected plant height, leaf length, leaf width, root weight and plant fresh weight (Lactuca sativa L.). Treatment of cow manure 11.30 gram/plant (S2) gave the highest results in the parameters of observation of plant height, number of leaves, and root weight with an average value of 17.97 cm, 13.7 da, 5.18 gram respectively. The highest leaf length observation parameter was produced by the chicken manure treatment of 33.96 grams/plant (A2) with an average of 20.10 cm. The goat manure treatment of 11.30 grams/plant (G1) resulted in the highest average leaf width with a value of 13.62 cm. While the cow manure treatment of 16.95 grams/plant (S3) gave the highest mean value in the parameters of plant fresh weight observation.

Abstract

Research title "The Effect of Dosing of NPK Fertilizer and Chicken Manure on the Growth and Yield of Bitter Gourd (Momordica Charantia L.)". The research objective was to analyze the effect of chicken fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of bitter gourd plants. This research was carried out from 8 August 2022 to 22 October 2022 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta, which is located on Jln. Jaya Wijaya No. 384 Kec. Banjarsari, Surakarta City, Central Java. The method used in this study was a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 NPK factors (N) consisting of 4 levels, namely N0 (control), N1 (7 grams/polybag), N2 (14 grams/polybag), N3 ( 21 grams/polybag) and chicken manure (K) consisting of K0 (control), K1 (500 grams/polybag), K2 (1000 grams/polybag), K3 (1500 grams/polybag). Based on two factors, 16 combinations are obtained, each of which is repeated 3 times. Parameters observed were leaf color, flower appearance day, wet stover weight, dry stover weight, fruit length, fruit circumference, fruit weight, and number of fruit. The results showed that K2 at a dose of 1000 g/polybag and N3 at a dose of 21 g/polybag gave the best scores for the number of fruits, wet stover and dry stover. K2 dose of 1000 g/polybag and N2 dose of 14 g/polybag gave the best score on fruit length and fruit circumference. K3 dose of 1500 g/polybag and N2 dose of 14 g/polybag gave the best score on fruit weight. K3 dose of 1500 g/polybag and N3 dose of 21 g/polybag gave the best score on leaf color. K0 dose of 0 g/polybag and N3 dose of 21 g/polybag gave the best score on the day of flower appearance.
