Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based expert system with the Forward Chaining method that can diagnose and provide treatment for people with stroke disease. The expert system will be used to help the diagnosis process by analyzing the symptoms reported by the patient. The Forward Chaining method will be used as an inference approach in this expert system. The system will use a knowledge base that contains medical rules obtained from experts. The inference process will be carried out by linking the symptoms reported by the patient with the information in the knowledge base to determine possible diagnoses and appropriate treatments. This expert system will be implemented in the form of a web-based application that can be accessed by the general public. The results of this study show that the expert system to diagnose and provide treatment using the forward chaining method is successfully built and the application can be used to help the general public diagnose by entering the symptoms felt and the expert system will provide diagnostic results and provide treatment.

Abstract

The performance evaluation of student organizations (Ormawa) at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis is an essential part of the end-of-term management assessment, serving as a form of accountability and a basis for future development. The manual process used so far often takes considerable time and is prone to errors. To address this issue, a web-based decision support system was developed using the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method, which applies a weighting system in the decision-making process. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, enabling a fast and efficient development process through a linear and sequential methodology. The implementation of the MFEP method in the system achieved an accuracy rate of 88.88%, based on a comparison between field data and system processing results.

Abstract

The coffee shop industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, including D'Kopikap as one of the businesses facing challenges in managing production and inventory. The main difficulty lies in the uncertainty in predicting the number of sales, which is influenced by various factors such as the type of day (weekdays, weekends, holidays, and promo days) and the time of sale. To overcome this problem, a sales prediction system using multiple linear regression algorithm was developed. System development is carried out using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach to accelerate the design and implementation process. The data used in this research is divided into two parts, namely training and test data of 80:20. The results showed that the sales prediction system created was able to provide sales forecasts that could be used to assist production planning and inventory management. Evaluation of the model shows the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) value of 22.48, Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 37.18%, and Coefficient of Determination (R²) of 72.26%. These results indicate that the model has good enough predictive ability to be used in operational activities. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of a better sales prediction system in the future.

Abstract

Social assistance is a form of government concern to alleviate poverty. This assistance can be in the form of money, clothing, food, or medicine needed by the community. The purpose of social assistance is to improve the welfare of the community. In providing social assistance, both the local government as the provider and the recipient community must be accountable according to the provisions. Social assistance is regulated in Government Regulation No. 58/2005 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 13/2006. Kelapapati Village faces challenges in the efficient distribution of social assistance. Manual processes in registration, data management, distribution, and monitoring often lead to problems such as recipient verification errors, misuse, and untargeted distribution. Subjectivity in assessing recipient eligibility also triggers social jealousy. The SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method is applied as a solution to improve efficiency. This method prioritizes beneficiaries based on criteria such as number of dependents, income, employment, and single parent status.

Abstract

Choosing a campus is a crucial decision for prospective students because it influences their learning and self-development process. With 13 campuses available in Bengkalis and Pekanbaru, prospective students often face difficulties in determining the right choice for their preferences and needs. Therefore, a recommendation system is needed that can help make decisions quickly and accurately without complicated searches. This study aims to design a campus selection recommendation system using the Multi Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method, which considers six main factors: tuition fees, majors, scholarships, type of college, admission pathways, and accreditation. This method involves weighting and evaluation to produce more accurate recommendations. The system development uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, enabling a fast and iterative process by involving users at every stage. The result of this system is a recommendation system that can help prospective students determine the best campus according to the selected criteria, thus facilitating the decision-making process efficiently. Abstract

Klinik Pratama Dr. Moris Pendaftaran dan pengelolaan data pasien masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu menggunakan media kertas. Menyebabkan antrian pasien menjadi lebih lama, ketidakjelasan urutan pasien, kinerja staf dan tenaga medis menjadi kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini merancang sistem yang dapat membantu staf dan tenaga medis mengoptimalkan pelayanan dalam klinik, serta pasien dapat melakukan pendaftaran secara online. Penerapan algoritma First Come First Served dapat mengatur urutan pasien menjadi lebih terstruktur, dan algoritma Priority Service bertujuan untuk mendahulukan pasien yang memiliki tingkat prioritas lebih tinggi. Sistem ini memudahkan dokter untuk melihat data pasien dan mengirimkan resep kepada apoteker secara digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memudahkan pasien dalam melakukan pendaftaran secara digital. Dengan penerapan algoritma First Come First Served dan Priority Service dapat membantu petugas dalam mengatur antrian dan melihat pasien dengan prioritas tinggi.
