Abstract

Physical education is fundamentally an educational process that primarily utilizes physical activities as the core of the learning process. One of the common problems encountered is the ineffective delivery of physical education materials. In the teaching and learning process, students often learn physical education only through textbooks or teacher explanations, making the learning experience monotonous. To address this issue, a high-quality learning process must be supported by effective learning media presented by teachers. Therefore, this study developed an interactive learning media in the form of animation for Grade XI students of the Computer and Network Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem. The development specifically focuses on the basic techniques of volleyball by integrating text and animation to make physical education materials more engaging and easier to understand. The results of this study indicate that the developed application functions properly, is capable of presenting all learning materials related to the basic techniques of volleyball interactively, and has been validated as a feasible learning medium.
