Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using the Problem Based Learning learning model with the help of learning media "Mihak Sergeant" in Civics subjects. This research is PTK research with quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The data search method uses the test results method. The research subjects were 28 students from grade 3 of Sendangmulyo 02 Public Elementary School. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the help of the "Mihak Sergeant" learning media was effective in understanding Citizenship Education learning and was effective for increasing critical thinking for students. Obtained from the learning results of the first cycle 59.64%, the second cycle 72.14%, the third cycle 83.57%.Keyword: Effectivenes, Problem Based Learning, Learning Media Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan bantuan media pembelajaran “Mihak Sersan” pada mata pelajaran PKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian PTK dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pencarian data menggunakan metode hasil tes. Subjek penelitian 28 peserta didik dari kelas 3 SD Negeri Sendangmulyo 02. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan berbantuan media pembelajaran “Mihak Sersan” efektif dalam pemahaman pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik peserta didik. Diperoleh dari hasil pembelajaran siklus I 59,64%, siklus II 72,14%, siklus III 83,57%.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Problem Based Learning, Media Pembelajaran
