The implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) at the Maternity Clinic in the working area of the Tanjung Morawa Health Center, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency is classified as low. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions of health workers, mothers, and families with the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) at the Maternity Clinic in the working area of the Tanjung Morawa Health Center, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is an analytic survey using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers giving birth at the Maternity Clinic in the Working Area of the Tanjung Morawa Health Center with a total of 215 people and a sample of 119 people. Data were obtained using questionnaires and observations, and analyzed by Chi-Square statistical test at α = 5%. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions of health workers, mothers, and families with the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation (IMD) at the Maternity Clinic in the working area of the Tanjung Morawa Health Center, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. It is suggested that the health workers in charge of assisting deliveries at the Maternity Clinic in the work area of the Tanjung Morawa Health Center, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. Abstract

The first stage of labor often takes a long time and causes discomfort for the mother, so methods are needed to accelerate it. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of microcontroller-based nipple stimulation in accelerating the labor process by stimulating the release of the hormone oxytocin which increases uterine contractions and accelerates cervical opening. Microcontroller technology is used to ensure the stimulation is done automatically and measured according to the mother's physiological needs. This study involved two groups, namely the group that received stimulation and the control group that did not receive stimulation. The results showed that the stimulated group experienced shorter labor times than the control group and were less likely to require medical interventions such as induction with drugs.  Close monitoring is still required to ensure safety, especially regarding the risk of uterine hyperstimulation that may affect the condition of the mother and fetus. Further research is needed to test the long-term effectiveness and safety of this method before it is widely applied in obstetric practice. Based on the total library, 600 were identified and as many as 100 additional articles were identified. A total of 630 studies failed to meet the inclusion criteria and 70 articles were read in their entirety, so that as many as 11 publications were used as references. Microcontroller-based nipple stimulation offers an innovative solution that can improve the efficiency of labor while providing a better quality of health care.

Abstract

Quality nursing care services is an important factor in improving patient satisfaction in hospitals. However, based on an initial survey at Sundari General Hospital, Medan, a relatively high level of patient dissatisfaction was found due to unfriendly service, poor therapeutic communication, and inadequate facilities. The WHO suggests that the patient satisfaction level should reach 85% or above to be considered adequate. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care services and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of Sundari General Hospital, Medan in 2026. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 44 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique with specific criteria. The research instrument was a questionnaire that measured the quality of nursing services based on five dimensions (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles) and patient satisfaction based on five aspects (performance, service, facilities, communication, and atmosphere). Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Spearman Rank test. The research results showed an increase in the quality of service and patient satisfaction after an educational intervention in the form of a pocketbook was given. Before the intervention, 70% of patients stated they were satisfied with the nursing services, which increased to 100% after the intervention. The statistical test results showed a significant relationship between the quality of nursing care services and the level of patient satisfaction (p < 0.05). It can be concluded that the quality of nursing care services has a significant relationship with the level of patient satisfaction. It is hoped that the hospital can improve the quality of nursing services to increase patient satisfaction and loyalty
