Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran sangat memungkinkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir yang diharapkan. Melalui media audio visual diharapkan ada peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, terutama dalam hal prestasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data proses dianalisis secara kualitatif dan data hasil tes siswa dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 60 dan yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 6 orang atau sebesar 19%. Pada siklus 1 nilai rata- rata siswa adalah 70 dan yang mencapai nilai KKM sebanyak 18 orang atau sebesar 58%. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 83 dan yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 29 siswa atau sebesar 94%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan di atas, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X A MAN Gowa Kabupaten Gowa. Dari data penelitian yang dilakukan selama tahap pra siklus hingga siklus 2 memperlihatkan hasil yang berbeda-beda. Dimana setiap siklusnya memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media, audio visual

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in debate learning and can improve students' speaking skills. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Several stages carried out in this research include the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The data and data sources in this research are process data and learning outcomes of class X Science 4 students at SMAN 7 Wajo, totaling 35 people. This research was carried out in three activities, namely pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The data collection techniques used are student observation sheets, student learning outcomes tests and documentation. Data from research analysis uses descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results of research using the spontaneous group discussion method to improve students' speaking skills in debate learning were declared successful. In pre-cycle activities the average student score was 55 and 3 people achieved the KKTP score or 8%. In cycle I the average student score was 69 and 21 people achieved KKTP or 60%. The average score of students in cycle II increased by 85 and reached a KKTP of 33 people or 94%. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that the spontaneous group discussion method can improve speaking skills in debate learning for class X Science 4 students at SMAN 7 Wajo. Research data conducted during the pre-cycle stage to cycle II showed different results. Namely, each cycle shows an increase in students' speaking skills.

Abstract

Poetry Reading Skills is an activity that is still little done in schools. Low students' listening skills will have an impact on their learning achievement. This research aims to improve learning outcomes for reading poetry, the application of audiovisual media can improve the expected poetry reading skills of class X.8 students at SMAN 2 Gowa. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Classroom action research aims to improve the quality or solve problems of the subjects studied and observe the level of success or consequences of the actions, to then take additional actions which are perfecting actions or adjustments to conditions and situations in order to achieve good results. In the pre-cycle the average student score was 65 and achieved a KKMP score of 16% or as many as 5 students. In cycle 1 the average student score was 74 and those who achieved KKMP were 58% or 18 students. In cycle II the average student score was 82 and those who achieved KKMP were 100% or as many as 31 students. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that the application of audiovisual media for learning poetry reading skills in each cycle shows an increase in learning activities which can improve learning outcomes for poetry reading skills in class X.8 students at SMAN 2 Gowa.
