<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi kelompok pengrajin perempuan Nusa Creation Community (NCC) di Gampong Nusa Lhoknga Aceh Besar, untuk menganalisis fenomena tersebut, maka penelitian ini akan menggunakan Teori Pertukaran (Social Exchange Theory) John Thibaut dan Harold Kelley untuk melihat penghargaan apa yang didapatkan dari hasil pengorbanan sehingga mereka mampu mempertahankan eksistensi kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikasi kelompok sangat berperan penting dalam membangun kolektivitas kelompok pengrajin perempuan nusa creation community (NCC) hal ini dapat dilihat dari awal pembentukkan kelompok NCC yang didasari hasil musyawarah perempuan Gampong Nusa. Meskipun saat ini sudah tidak ada norma yang mengikat anggota kelompok, namun kelompok NCC selalu berusaha menjaga kualitas komunikasi dengan intensitas pertemuan yang rutin, seminggu sekali pada hari rabu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini setiap anggota NCC menjalankan komunikasi sesuai dengan pola komunikasi yang berbentuk bintang. Pada pola berbentuk bintang atau disebut saluran all channels, seluruh anggotanya dapat berkomunikasi dengan sesama anggota kelompok lainnya. Bentuk komunikasi kelompok pola bintang dinilai paling efektif karena pola semua saluran tidak terpusat pada satu orang pemimpin. Pola ini juga memudahkan para anggota kelompok NCC untuk berdiskusi bersama dalam rangka menyelesaikan tugas dan Permasalahan. Meskipun terlihat adanya komunikasi yang baik, namun kelompok NCC tidak luput dari kekurangan. Sebagian dari mereka memiliki perilaku self centered rules. Self centered rules merupakan suatu perilaku yang dirancang untuk memuaskan kebutuhan perseorangan atau diri dari pada untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kelompok atau yang disebut peranan terpusat. Hal ini dibuktikan dari ketua kelompok NCC yang lebih memfokuskan suatu keuntungan untuk dirinya dibandingkan kelompok sehingga sering terjadi Direct Exchange yang merupakan suatu kondisi dimana, satu orang diuntungkan oleh nilai yang dimiliki oleh orang lain di dalam kelompok tersebut. KOMMUNICATION OF THE NUSA CREATION COMMUNITY (NCC) WOMEN CRAFTSMAN GROUP IN MAINTAINING THE EXISTENCE OF THE GROUP IN GAMPONG NUSA LHOKNGA ACEH BESARABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the communication of the women craftsmen group Nusa Creation Community (NCC) in Gampong Nusa Lhoknga Aceh Besar, to analyze this phenomenon, this study will use the Social Exchange Theory of John Thibaut and Harold Kelley to see the awards obtained from results so that they are able to maintain the existence of the group. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that group communication plays an important role in building the collectivity of the Nusa Creation Community (NCC) craftsman group. Although currently there is no binding norm for group members, the NCC group always tries to maintain the quality of communication with regular meetings, once a week on Wednesdays. Based on this research, each NCC member communicates according to a star-shaped communication pattern. In a star-shaped pattern or called the channel of all channels, all members can communicate with other members of the group. The form of star pattern group communication is considered the most effective because the pattern of all channels does not depend on one leader. This pattern also makes it easier for members of the NCC group to be creative together in order to solve tasks and problems. Although there seems to be good communication, the NCC group is not without its shortcomings. some of them have self-centered regulatory behavior. Self centered rules is a behavior designed to satisfy individual or self needs rather than meeting group needs or those that are important to pay attention to. This is evident from the head of the NCC group who is more focused on an advantage for himself compared to the group so that there is often a condition where one person benefits from the values possessed by others in the group.
