Abstract

Islam telah menjadi sentral dalam kehidupan bernegara, terbukti dengan meningkatnya pendidikan tinggi Islam di Indonesia yang mencapai lebih dari 400 pada tahun 2022. Pendidikan tinggi Islam juga memegang peranan tinggi dalam pembentukan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing di era globalisasi saat ini, maka dari itu manajemen kinerja menjadi penting dalam hal ini mencakup perencanaan, implementasi, dan pengukuran kinerja untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif jangka panjang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi implementasi manajemen kinerja strategis yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai islam dalam pendidikan tinggi Islam untuk mencapai peningkatan daya saing global dan inovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, dengan maksud untuk memperdalam informasi dari berbagai sumber-sumber referensi yang relevan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan manajemen kinerja strategis yang efektif, didukung oleh nilai-nilai Islami seperti kejujuran, keadilan, amanah, dan tanggung jawab, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mendorong inovasi, dan meningkatkan daya saing global institusi pendidikan tinggi Islam. Islam has become central to state life, as evidenced by the increase in Islamic higher education in Indonesia which reached more than 400 in 2022. Islamic higher education also plays a high role in forming quality and competitive human resources (HR) in the current era of globalization, therefore performance management is important in this case including planning, implementation, and performance measurement to achieve long-term competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to identify the implementation of strategic performance management based on Islamic values in Islamic higher education to achieve increased global competitiveness and innovation. This research uses the method of literature study, to deepen information from various relevant reference sources. This study concludes that the implementation of effective strategic performance management, supported by Islamic values such as honesty, fairness, trust, and responsibility, is expected to improve operational efficiency, encourage innovation, and increase the global competitiveness of Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Educational institutions in Indonesia consist of various types, one of which is Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The majority of Muslims in Indonesia have established many Islamic boarding schools in this country. The current role of Islamic boarding schools is not only as educational institutions, but also as institutions that can increase economic value through programs contained in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the role of the Ma'had Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school in improving the economy of the surrounding community. This research was conducted at al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from interviews, observations, and literature studies related to the research topic. The results of this study found that in addition to being an Islamic educational institution, the Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school also has considerable resources, so that with these resources the Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school can carry out various activities, one of which has economic centers both in agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and cooperatives that can help improve the economy of the Al-Zaytun community and the surrounding community, such as providing loans and capital from the Ma'had Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school cooperative; P3KPI provides land and capital for those who want to farm with a profit sharing system from the harvests obtained; Providing employment for the surrounding community, especially to manage Ma'had Al-Zaytun's agriculture and plantations; and distribution of harakah zakat and harakah Qurban to the community around the Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Islamic non-bank financial institutions in Indonesia include Islamic insurance, Islamic cooperatives, Islamic capital markets and so on. Along with the times, the presence of non-bank financial institutions is starting to be favored by the public and in its implementation it must comply with sharia principles. The purpose of this study is to find out and understand how the Murabahah Contract is for Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue and how the DSN-MUI Fatwa review regarding the implementation of the Murabahah Agreement for Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue. This research method uses a combination method (mix method) with a concurrent triangulation design. The data was obtained by means of interviews, observations and in-depth questionnaires/questionsnaires to customers and members of BMT Cahaya Virtue, Bekasi City, in 2022, totaling 47 respondents and 10 informants. The results showed that the implementation of the Murabahah Contract on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue has been going well, but there are some discrepancies from the aspect of the customer's intention to purchase goods. Based on the research results, there are several customers who apply for murabahah financing not to buy goods but for other needs such as home renovations, paying for education fees and for non-purchasing purposes. In terms of the DSN-MUI Fatwa Review regarding the implementation of Murabahah Contracts on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the Implementation of Murabahah Contracts on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue is very good.

Abstract

Maqashid syariah refers to the goals or purposes underlying Islamic laws, and in an economic context, this concept helps determine economic principles and practices that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. This article outlines the objectives of Maqashid syariah which include the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage and property. This article also discusses various sharia economic instruments used in mudarabah, musharakah and takaful practices. Apart from that, this article aims to determine the important role of sharia financial institutions in achieving the goals of Maqashid syariah in an economic context. The methodology in this article uses library research or literature study with data sources coming from books, journals and research reports that discuss the realization of maqashid sharia in Islamic economics. The results of this article show that the realization of maqashid sharia in Islamic economics can be seen from the implementation of contracts in sharia financial institutions whose operations are based on Islamic values which aim to achieve shared mashlahah which is also supported by the enactment of law number 21 of 2008 concerning sharia banking. which contains maqashid sharia values. The embodiment of hifdz al-maal (protecting assets) is found in mudharabah and musyarakah contracts and the embodiment of hifdz al-khams (protecting the soul) is found in takaful or sharia insurance.
