Abstract

This article aims to determine the effectiveness of the job training program at the Mojokerto Job Training Center (BLK). The problem focused on the effectiveness of the job training program at BLK Mojokerto in tackling unemployment. To approach this problem, a theoretical reference from Budiani (2007) on the theory of program effectiveness is used which measures effectiveness using four indicators, namely program accuracy, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring. The data were collected through qualitative descriptive research methods, where the data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data sources used are primary and secondary data and analyzed qualitatively. This study concluded that based on the results of research conducted by the author on the effectiveness of the job training program at BLK Mojokerto analyzed based on four indicators, including: accuracy of program targets, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring showed that BLK Mojokerto had met these four indicators, so that the training program held could be said to be effective and could help participants to improve skills and the expertise he has.

Abstract

This study describes the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in Realizing the Right to Decent Work by UKM Tiara Handicraft Surabaya. Persons with disabilities in society tend to experience discrimination and are seen as unable to work or hinder work in their daily lives, causing persons with disabilities to not get jobs. With the existence of small and medium enterprises that empower people with disabilities, namely UKM Tiara Handicraft Surabaya, they are able to prove the quality of their workforce can be taken into account in the world of work and increase community participation to be able to help improve their quality of life with voluntary assistance such as in the medical, educational, financial and other fields. etc. So this study aims to find out the process of empowering people with disabilities and the supporting factors and obstacles in realizing decent work rights by UKM Tiara Handicraft Surabaya. This study uses a Qualitative Research Method based on existing problems and is considered the most appropriate and appropriate to describe the problems that occur and uses several data collection techniques, namely Interview, Observation, Documentation, and Library Studies. The results of the study show that the empowerment of persons with disabilities in realizing the right to decent work by UKM Tiara Handicraft Surabaya has been carried out well although there are still several inhibiting factors.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan kegiatan yang diwajibkan bagi penyelenggara pelayanan publik berkaitan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan pelayanan menurut peraturan perundang – undangan atas jasa, barang dan/atau pelayanan menruut peraturan perundang – undangan kepada setiap warga negara dan penduduk. Bentuk pelayanan publik beragam dan salah satunya yaitu Akta Kelahiran. Kelurahan Tambaksari Kota Surabaya menerapkan inovasi baru yang disebut Klampid New Geneartion (KNG) diterapkan guna memudahkan pelayanan warga dalam penyelenggara manajemen kependudukan terutama Akta Kelahiran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan berdasarkan Peraturan Walikota Surabaya Nomor 10 Tahun 2022 tentang Tata cara Pelaksanaan Administrasi Kependudukan. Hasil penelitian Kelurahan Tambaksari Kota Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelayanan akta kelahiran di Kantor Kelurahan Tambaksari berada kategori baik dalam hal efisiensi waktu, tanggung jawab, keamanan, kedisiplinan, kesopanan dan keramahan, serta kelengakapan fasilitas dan infrastuktur.

Abstract

The development of the Bulak Fish Center is an effort by the Government Municipal to create a platform for street vendors to increase economic income. However, there is a problem with the Bulak Fish Center, which has been functioning as a centre for marine products and crafts, which is still quiet, so traders return to selling on the side of the road. Therefore, a city government strategy is needed to manage Bulak Fish Centers. This study used the Wheelen & Hunger Strategy Theory of environmental scanning, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, evaluation and control. The purpose of this study was to determine the Government Municipal Strategy for Managing Bulak fish Centers in the Coastal Area of ​​Surabaya City. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Information was obtained through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The researcher selects informants based on purposive sampling, namely selecting samples or informants who are considered to be related to the matter to be studied based on the subject matter supported by relevant data and providing comprehensive data on the research problem. As for the informants, namely the fisheries and maritime affairs of the Food Security and Agriculture Service. The data analysis technique used interactive with the steps of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of field analysis, the government muncipal strategy has been implemented well, but the researchers suggest a strategy to be more stringent in regulations by assisting traders and outreach. Recommendations for future researchers who will carry out similar research are to increase the time needed so that the results obtained are maximum and more absolute.
