Abstract

Soedjatmoko's religious-humanist education concept becomes an educational concept that practically requires a teacher to be sensitive and care about the development and willingness of students. Researchers call it humanist-transcendental education, which is an educational model that gives students freedom of thought based on religious spiritual values. Thus, students should be able to think critically, creatively, innovatively, cooperatively and transcendental, so that their actions always reflect God's goodness. This will also have an impact on a teacher / educator to be more professional, humanist and religious in spirit so that they can become good role models (uswatun hasanah), can be "gugu" and "imitate" and produce students (out-put). who have morals and are able to deliver them to what they aspire to. With a high sense of humanity and a religious attitude that is owned by each teacher / educator and students, this will have an impact on community life to become a civilized society and will make an ideal and humanist education, an education that is superior in achievement. , comfortable and in line with the goals of universal Islamic education.

Abstract

Krisis multidimensi saat ini sangat memprihatinkan, dan jika dilihat dari latar kebelakang masalahnya bermuara pada pola pembangunan SDM saat ini yang terlalu mengedepankan IQ (kecerdasan intelektual) dan materialisme, tetapi mengabaikan EQ (kecerdasan emosi) terlebih lagi SQ (kecerdasan spiritual). Pendidikan Islam merupakan sebuah proses yang dilakukan untuk menciptakan manusia-manusia yang seutuhnya, beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan serta mampu mewujudkan eksistensinya sebagai khalifah Allah di muka bumi, yang berdasarkan Al Qur’an dan Sunnah, maka tujuan dalam konteks ini berarti terciptanya insan-insan kamil setelah proses pendidikan berakhir. Dengan menanamkan pendidikan Islam yang kuat dalam diri manusia, dengan cara menancapkan keimanan yang dicapai melalui akal dan proses berfikir yang cemerlang (fikru mustanir) yaitu senantiasa melihat keberadaan sang pencipta dibalik alam semesta dan isinya, maka akan terbangun kecerdasan spiritual pada diri seseorang yang akan berpengaruh pada kepribadiannya dalam menjalankan ibadah dan beretika soaial di masyarakat.

Abstract

Miskawaih's Islamic education thought has high relevance in answering the challenges of modernity, especially in facing the moral and value crisis in the digital era. The purpose of this research is to explore Miskawaih's Islamic Education Thought: Relevance to the Challenges of Modernity. The research method used in this article is qualitative with a historical-philosophical approach. This research focuses on literature review to analyze Miskawaih's works, Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation and content analysis methods, Data were analyzed using an interpretative approach to explore the relevance of Miskawaih's thought to the modern context. The results show that concepts such as the integration of science and morality, tazkiyah al-nafs, and education for true happiness provide a strong foundation for building an education system that is holistic and oriented towards character building. The study concludes that Miskawaih's educational approach not only provides theoretical insights but also practical solutions that can be implemented in various modern educational contexts.
