Abstract

The background of this research is that the increasing number of boarding school-based schools shows that competition between institutions is increasingly competitive, however, the public interest in sending their children to SMP A. Wahid Hasyim Tebuireng and SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jombang has not diminished. Even as the data obtained by the researchers, from year to year the number of registrants in the two schools has increased. The focus of this research is how to strategy; implementation; and the impact of educational marketing strategies on both institutions. This research is a qualitative research, using a case study approach with a multi-case design. The process of collecting data uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is the analysis of the Miles & Huberman model, the data that has been collected and validated and analyzed by means of data reduction; presentation of data; and drawing conclusions. Data checking used the triangulation method. The results showed that: First, the educational services marketing strategy carried out by SMP A. Wahid Hasyim Tebuireng and SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jombang had similarities in attracting new students, namely using two methods (1) direct marketing, and (2) indirect marketing. . But the marketing strategy at SMP Muhammadiyah was handled and carried out by a different school from SMP Tebuireng which was more handled and run by the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, so the school just had to accept it. Second, the implementation of marketing in both schools is (1) Formulating a competitive strategy; namely by identifying market segmentation, targeting, and positioning; (2) Creating marketing tactics, namely applying the theory of the marketing mix by offering quality products, applying prices that are competitive with other institutions, highlighting a very strategic geographic location, and also taking promotional steps; (3) Show added value, namely by providing good service; as well as carry out a quality coaching process. Third, the results of the marketing strategies in the two institutions in attracting new students are as follows: (1). high customer loyalty of education service users (public understanding), (2). Increased public confidence (public confidence), (3). The existence of community support (public support), and (4). The establishment of effective collaboration between schools and stakeholders (public corpuration).

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari banyaknya fenomena kekerasan remaja di sekolah yang disebabkan oleh kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, pergaulan bebas, minum-minuman keras, mengkonsumsi narkotika, hal itu sangat mempengaruhi psikologis dan pola pikir remaja sehingga sering terjadinya tawuran antar pelajar sekolah dikarenakan kurang dan keringnya penanaman nilai-nilai karakter dalam keluarga dan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologis yang berusaha memahami peristiwa yang telah terjadi, dan berusaha bisa masuk kedalam dunia konseptual subjeknya agar dapat memahami bagaimana dan apa makna yang disusun subjeknya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, peneliti berusaha memahami subjek dari sudut pandang subjek itu sendiri, dengan tidak mengabaikan penafsiran dengan membuat skema konseptual. Jenis penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif grounded (penelitian lapangan). Penelitian kualitatif grounded adalah prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang yang perilakunya dapat diamati. Pemilihan jenis penelitian ini adalah karena bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran yang utuh tentang pembentukkan akhlakul karimah siswa SMK Sultan Agung 1 Tebuireng melalui pendidikan agama Islam (PAI). Hasil penelitian dalam upaya pembentukan akhlakul karimah yang di terapkan di SMK Sultan Agung 1 Tebuireng mengenai upaya pembentukkan akhlakul karimah, melalui pendidikan agama Islam yakni, dengan menambahkan pendidikan agama Islam tambahan disamping pendidikan kurikulum diantaranya, antara lain : pendidikan ibadah, sholat dhuha berjama’ah, istighosah, BTQ (Baca Tulis Al-qur’an), hafalan Surat Yasin dan Tahlil, hafalan surat surat pendek, Budaya 5 S dan Panca Jiwa. Adapun faktor pendukung dalam pembentukan akhlakul karimah yang diberlakukan di SMK Sultan Agung 1 antara lain : Buku-buku akhlak baik dari buku LKS dan disertai bimbingan guru PAI, Keinginan siswa untuk menjadi sukses, Keinginan orang tua siswa agar ia menjadi orang yang baik dan, Guru menginginkan agar siswa disiplin dengan waktu dan bertanggung jawab serta jujur dalam sikap dan ucapan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam pembentukan akhlakul karimah yang diberlakukan di SMK Sultan Agung 1 antara lain : Keterbatasan sebagian siswa dalam memahami materi agama, Pengaruh lingkungan masyarakat yang majemuk, Kurangnya kemauan (himmah) yang tinggi dalam menggapai cita-cita dan, Siswa belum menemukan jati dirinya sebagai seoarang pelajar.

Abstract

In relation to the implementation of facilities and infrastructure, the availability of facilities and infrastructure is one of the important components that must be met in supporting the education system. Management of educational facilities and infrastructure can be defined as the entire process of procurement and utilization of components that directly or indirectly support the educational process to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. School-based management (SBM), is an approach to improving the quality of education through the granting of authority to schools to manage school resources in accordance with the conditions and demands of the school environment. SBM gives schools greater authority to manage their own schools. Schools are seen as more aware of their own strengths, weaknesses, threats, opportunities and needs, so that the management of school resources will be more effective and efficient at the school level. This study concludes that the implementation of infrastructure management at MA Al-Mubarok is always carried out optimally. This can be seen in the completeness of the infrastructure owned by MA Al-Mubarok in handling the infrastructure, which is directly handled by the respective field of study teachers under the supervision of the Deputy Head of Infrastructure. Al-Mubarok carried out sequentially, starting from planning procurement, procurement, maintenance, inventory and elimination. This process is carried out so that the infrastructure in the madrasa is always in a neat, orderly and orderly condition.
