Abstract

AbstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat suatu peraga sistem pengapian sepeda motor dan mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa setelah menggunakannya. Dalam penelitian ini, desain eksperimen yang semu dengan pola pre-test post-test one group design diterapkan. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Perakitan Otomotif I Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Semarang sejumlah 29 orang. Hasil analisis data mendapatkan bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman tentang sistem pengapian sepeda motor sebelum dan setelah menggunakan alat peraga, nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan alat peraga secara berurutan sebesar 54,52 dan 75,86. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga sistem pengapian sepeda motor telah berjalan dengan baik karena prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan Perakitan Otomotif I mengalami peningkatan 39,15% dari sebelum menggunakan.The purpose of this study is to make a prop of motorcycle ignition system and find an increase in the student understanding after using it. In this study, a quasi-experimental design with a pattern of pre-test post-test one group design is applied. The study samples consisted of students who take courses in Automotive Assembly I Department of Mechanical Engineering, State University of Semarang, namely amount of 29 people. Based on the data analysis, it is found that there is an increased understanding of the ignition system of a motorcycle before and after the use of props, the average value before and after the use of props are 54.52 and 75.86, respectively. So it can be said that the use of props motorcycle ignition system has been running well for learning achievements of students attending Automotive Assembly I have increased 39.15% from the prior use

Abstract

Tetragonula laeviceps was one of the most stingless bees that spread almost throughout Indonesia and produced honey and propolis. Nutmeg is one of the native plants of Indonesia, can be used by stingless bees. The aim of this study was to know the activity of Tetragonula laeviceps in monoculture and polyculture nutmeg plantation. The method used in this research is observation for outgoing and return activity, and t-test used to determine the activity. The result showed that the activity start at 6 am until 5 pm, and the peak activities are at 10 – 12 am. T-test shows the difference activities (P < 0,05) with the score 36,5 ± 20,9 bees/5 minutes at monoculture plantation and 24,88 ± 8,96 bees/ 5 minutes at polyculture plantation. The feed availability and the distance between the hive and plants are thought to influence the activities of bees in both location. External activities of Stingless bees are forage nectar, pollen and resin. Other activities are disposing of trash, driving out disabled bees from the hives, and protecting the hive from enemy attacks.
