Abstract

Tujuan penelitian di SMK N 1 Semarang adalah 1) Mendesaian alat peraga motor starter 2) Menguji kelayakan alat peraga motor starter 3) Mengetahui besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode True Experimental Design dengan pola pre-test post-test control group design. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mengetahui seberapa besar nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, perhitungan uji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan uji kelayakan alat peraga mendapat kriteria layak dengan skor uji materi 4 dan 4 untuk uji media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 78,33 dengan peningkatan sebesar 15,73 (25,12%), sedangkan rata-rata nilai belajar kelompok kontrol sebesar 70,10 dengan peningkatan sebesar 6,87 (10,86%).The purpose of the research in SMK N 1 Semarang was 1) Designing visual aid of motor starter. 2) Feasibility test the visual aid of motor starter. 3) Find out the increase of the student learning result. The research was using method of True Experimental Design with form pre-test post test control group design. Processing data with descriptive method to find out increased average result of learning, calculation of T-test to find out between student learning result. The result of this research showed that feasibility test visual aid obtained criteria of feasible with scored material test for 4 and media test for 4. The result of this research showed that the average result of learning experiment group increased 78,33 increase 15,73 (25,12%), while the average result of learning control group increased 70,10 increased 6,87 (10,86%).
