<![CDATA[Beberapa masalah pertanian yang terjadi adalah kurangnya wadah yang disediakan penyuluh untuk kepentingan para petani. Terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki penyuluh dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya, menyebabkan rendahnya mobilitas penyuluh dan kurang optimalnya pelayanan terhadap petani. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka muncul gagasan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi penyuluhan berbasis SMS gateway. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat perancangan aplikasi sistem informasi penyuluhan budidaya sayur mayur berbasis sms gateway. Metode penelitian terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data yang meliputi observasi dan studi pustaka serta tahap perancangan desain sistem secara lengkap. Hasil penelitian berupa desain sistem informasi penyuluhan budidaya sayur mayur bebasis sms gateway yang terdiri dari aplikasi server sebagai back office (web system administrator dan web system sms management), aplikasi user sebagai front office (layanan sistem informasi dan layanan sms interaktif) dan dilengkapi dengan fitur sms interaktif berupa layanan sms autoreply dan sms autoforward. Sistem informasi ini dapat digunakan oleh penyuluh dan sasaran penyuluhan sebagai sarana komunikasi dan pertukaran informasi/materi penyuluhan. Some of agricultures problems are the lack of a platform that provided by the instructor to the farmers interests . Research method consists of the collection of data that includes observation and study of literature and the stage of planning a complete system design. The research results is the design of counseling vegetable cultivation information systems based sms gateway consisting of a back office server applications (web systems administrator and web system sms management), application user as a front office (service information systems and interactive SMS service) and is equipped with sms interactive features form sms AutoReply and sms autoforward.
