Abstract

Mathematics is one of the basic sciences that is very important to be taught to students. Mathematics subjects need to be given to all students starting from the elementary school level to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critically, and creatively, as well as the ability to work together. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the interaction of the Group Investigation (GI) learning method and independent learning on mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMPN 17 Makassar. The affordable population in this study were class VII students of SMPN 17 Makassar. While the research sample was randomly selected from two classes from all class VII SMPN 17 Makassar assuming all classes were homogeneous. The research method used was quasi-experimental with the research hypothesis testing technique used was a two-way ANOVA with a 2 x 2 factorial. The data analysis requirements test used was the normality test and homogeneity test. The test results show that all data groups are normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing showed that there was no interaction effect of the Group Investigation (GI) learning method and independent learning on mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, efforts were made for teachers in learning mathematics to apply the Group Investigation (GI) learning method and seek to increase student learning independence.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes on Multiplication Materials through Media Game Persik (Asik Multiplication) Class II Students UPT SPF Inpres Andi Tonro. The main problem in this study is that students lack confidence in solving math problems, students tend to be passive in the learning process, pay less attention to the teacher's explanation and math learning outcomes are still low. This study aims to improve math learning outcomes of multiplication material through peach game media for class II B UPT SPF Inpres Andi Tonro students. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were class II B UPT SPF Inpres Andi Tonro students totaling 22 students. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments in this study include observation sheets, and learning outcomes tests. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study using peach game media in learning math multiplication material can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class II B UPT SPF Inpres Andi Tonro students as evidenced by an increase in student learning activities student learning activeness in cycle I of 48.86% increased in cycle II by 75.54% while the expected target was reached 55%. The increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of student learning outcomes of 60.91, then in cycle II obtained an average value of student learning outcomes of 84.54. Students' mathematics learning completeness also increased, in cycle I there were 9 students or 40.91%, while in cycle II there were 18 students or 81.81% classical completeness was achieved classically because the number of students who completed more than 80%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of class II B UPT SPF Inpres Andi Tonro students through the application of peach game media have increased.

Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this study pertains to the diminished levels of engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes observed among students in mathematics instruction highlighted by ongoing difficulties in understanding the material. This research seeks to explore the impact of differentiated instruction on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie. This study employed a quantitative research approach, utilizing a pre-experimental design characterized by the One Group Pretest-Posttest methodology. The research procedure included the initial stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The subjects in this study were 24 fifth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. The results indicated that the implementation of differentiated learning positively impacted students' mathematics learning outcomes. The average score for students' mathematics performance improved significantly, rising from 31.74 (very low category) in the pretest to 64.78 (fairly good category) in the posttest. The significance value demonstrated a notable difference (0.010 < 0.05). Furthermore, the N-Gain analysis demonstrated an average normalized gain of 0.4749, categorizing it within the moderate range. These findings suggested that differentiated learning significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Tema 8 Lingkungan Sahabat Kita Pada Siswa Kelas V SDN No. 81 Kalukubodo Galesong Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan metode Mind Mapping. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN No 81 Kalukubodo Galesong Selatan dengan jumlah sebanyak 15 siswa. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data observasi, dokumentasi dan perangkat tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis Kualitatif dan teknik analisis Kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui dilihat pada perbandingan siklus I dan siklus II adalah sebagai berikut: nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I yaitu 7 siswa atau 46,67% dengan kategori tuntas dan 8 siswa atau 53,33% Tidak Tuntas. Dan pada siklus II ketuntasan siswa meningkat yaitu dengan ketuntasan 13 siswa atau 86,67% sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas adalah 2 siswa atau 13,33%. Maka berdasarkan hasil uji siswa tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Penerapam Metode Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap Peningkatan Hasil belajar IPA Pada Siswa kelas V SDN No 81 Kalukubodo Galesong Selatan.
