Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: penerapan metode workshop dan peningkatan peran Humas SMA Negeri 1 Sigaluh dan SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Kabupaten Banjarnegara dalam memanfaatkan media massa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh, untuk meningkatkan peran Humas dalam memanfaatkan media massa dengan cara melakukan workshop. Instruktur berasal dari praktisi Humas yang berpengalaman dalam memanfaatkan media massa, menggunakan buku pedoman prosedur pemanfaatan media massa, serta materi yang ditekankan pada materi pembuatan siaran pers yang baik untuk publikasi di media massa. Berdasarkan skor hasil angket pada siklus I, hingga siklus II diketahui bahwa skor rata-rata 124,5 dengan persentase peningkatan mencapai 89%. Hal ini diperkuat dengan fakta bahwa media massa eksternal telah memuat siaran pers yang dikirim kedua sekolah tersebut. Dengan indikator keberhasilan 85%, dapat dikatakan Humas sekolah sudah meningkat perannya dalam memanfaatkan media massa dengan dilakukannya tindakan workshop. The purpose of this study was to determine: the application of methods workshops and increasing the role of Public Relations (PR) of SMA Negeri 1 Sigaluh and SMA Negeri 1 Bawang in Banjarnegara Regency in utilizing the mass media. This study is an Action Research School (SAR) using quantitative methods. The results obtained, to enhance the role of PR in the use of mass media by conducting workshops. Instructors come from an experienced PR practitioners in the use of the mass media, using manual procedures, the media, as well as material that is emphasized in the manufacture of the material is good press release for publication in the mass media. Based on the results of questionnaire scores in the first cycle, the second cycle until it is known that the average score of 124.5 with an increasing percentage reaches 89%. This is reinforced by the fact that the mass media have an external load press release sent both schools. With a 85% success indicators, it can be said PR schools have increased their role in utilizing the mass media workshops for action.

Abstract

This study explores the role of legal and policy frameworks in integrating local heroes' wisdom into national education systems, particularly in the context of Indonesia’s efforts to reinforce national identity through local cultural values. In response to the challenges posed by globalization and transnational cultural flows, this paper advocates for a strategic approach that incorporates local heroes’ wisdom into educational curricula, with a particular focus on regions like Central Java, which are rich in historical narratives of local resistance. Despite the cultural and historical significance of local heroes, their wisdom remains fragmented and underutilized within the national education framework. This research examines the interplay between legal structures and educational policies in facilitating the inclusion of local wisdom in national curricula, highlighting relevant Indonesian laws such as Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional (National Education System Law), which emphasizes the need for education to reflect national culture, and Undang-Undang No. 5 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Cultural Advancement Law), which promotes the preservation and integration of local cultural heritage. By applying legal theory, such as the concept of lex cultura—the legal recognition and protection of cultural rights—this study examines how legal and policy frameworks can ensure the documentation, protection, and integration of local heroes' narratives into educational curricula. Using a multi-method approach over two years, the research maps the values upheld by local heroes in Central Java, and in its second phase, investigates the pedagogical strategies employed by teachers to integrate these values into national education practice. This paper contributes to legal scholarship by discussing the role of law in preserving local knowledge while addressing the challenges and effectiveness of its integration in building national identity among students.
