Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat Samin telah mengalami banyak perubahan danpergeseran yakni seperti mayoritas telah memeluk agama Islam dankehidupan generasi muda Samin sudah seperti masyarakat lainnya, tetapidisamping itu ajaran Samin mulai luntur dan hilang. Pelaksanaan dakwahIslam telah ada dikalangan masyarakat Samin, meliputi da’I, mad’u, maddah,washilah dan thoriqah serta didukung adanya kegiatan yang bernuansakeislaman seperti Fatayat, Muslimat, TPQ, Seni Hadrah dan PengajianSelapanan. Melalui kegiatan tersebut menjadikan wadah untuk senantiasamengembangkan ajaran agama Islam dikalangan masyarakat Samin. Adapunstrategi yang digunakan dikalangan masyarakat Samin yaitu berpegang padapokok strategi dakwah Bi Al-Hikmah, yaitu berdakwah dengan melihatsituasi dan kondisi masyarakat Samin terlebih dahulu, sehingga dalammenerima dan menjalankan ajaran-ajaran Islam masyarakat Samin tidakmerasa terpaksa atau keberatan. Menurut pendapat penulis strategi ini cukuptepat untuk di aplikasikan pada masyarakat Samin, karena sebelummenyampaikan dakwah da’i telah mengetahui situasi dan kondisi masyarakatSamin, melalui strategi dakwah tersebut masyarakat Samin menerima denganbaik dan memberikan perkembangan yang positiv.

Abstract

The Journey anime with the main character Aws is one of the most popular anime in Indonesia. This anime tells the story of the struggle of Aws, a Meccan youth, in resisting the attack of Abraha's elephant troops who wanted to destroy the Kaaba. This research uses critical discourse analysis by Teun A. van Dijk to analyze the stereotypical representation of Islam in the anime The Journey. Critical discourse analysis is one of the most influential theories of discourse analysis. This theory focuses on how text and discourse can be used to construct and reconstruct reality. The research results show that the anime The Journey represents Islam positively. Aws is described as a brave, tough and big-hearted figure. He represents noble Islamic values, such as courage, justice and peace. However, this research also found several Islamic stereotypes in the anime The Journey. For example, Islam is described as an exclusive religion and intolerant of other religions. Apart from that, Islam is also depicted as a radical and terrorist religion. The problems in this research are: (1) How is the stereotypical representation of Islam in the anime The Journey? (2) How is the discourse surrounding the representation displayed in the anime The Journey seen from the text level (macro structure, micro structure and superstructure? This research uses a qualitative approach with the discourse analysis research method developed by Teun A Van Dijk. To study or describe and To analyze with critical reasoning, a descriptive-analytical approach is used. This type of descriptive research aims to describe the results of research findings systematically, factually and accurately. The definition of descriptive analysis itself is a way of reporting data by explaining, giving a picture, and qualifying and interpreting the data what is collected as it is, after that it is concluded.

Abstract

Da'wah of Islam develops over time. The elements, materials, and means of da'wah have also developed. Da'wah media are increasingly diverse, including YouTube which allows broadcasts in minutes. Dakwah content on YouTube is an option as entertainment, education and information to replace TV programs that are not always in accordance with religious values. Thus, the animated film Ibra appeared, made by Indonesian children, which raised the Islamic message and the story of the Prophet Muhammad, and gave teachings to all ages. Researchers are interested in Ibra's animated film, especially in episode 10: FOMO on his YouTube account, Ibra Berkisah, because in that episode FOMO is significant in various aspects of Indonesian society: social media, education, social, consumption, religion and can affect behavior change, especially young generation. This study uses qualitative methods with a focus on literature review and a descriptive approach. The human instrument method is also used to determine focus, select relevant data sources, collect, evaluate, analyze, interpret data, and draw conclusions. The researcher analyzed the animated film Ibra episode 10 using the Ferdinand de Saussure Semiotics approach, using visual and audio data as sources. The main objective is to understand and analyze the da'wah messages contained in the animation. The analysis results of Ibra's animation episode 10 FOMO reveal the concept of da'wah conveyed through moral messages and religious values. The delivery of these Islamic values ​​takes the form of stories with moral messages, an introduction to religious teachings, as well as motivation and inspiration that are packaged in a fun and easy-to-understand way, especially for children and adolescents. Semiotic signs, such as linguistic, visual, sound, movement, and expression, strengthen da'wah messages emotionally and cognitively. The results of the analysis in each scene contain various messages that teach mutual forgiveness, the importance of knowledge, tolerance, respect for differences, the dangers of FOMO, and holding on to the truth even when faced with hostility.

Abstract

In this digital era, da'wah is no longer limited to lectures on the pulpit, but because of the development of communication media, the way of delivering da'wah has expanded to more modern ways, one of which is through visual communication design. Today visual communication design is widely used to convey moral and religious messages, both through print and digital media. One of the social media that is widely used today as a medium for spreading da'wah messages through visual communication design is Instagram social media. Currently, one of the organizations that is intensively using Instagram as a propaganda medium is nuonlinejatim. In the modern era, visual communication design has begun to be widely applied to beautify the appearance so that it makes it easier for readers to understand the contents of the information. The scope of visual communication design is very broad, from simple forms such as posters, banners, pictures on social media to complex ones such as videography, animation and digital films.

Abstract

Communication skills and attractive appearance play an important role in shaping an individual's professional image in the world of work. These two things are related to a student's readiness to start a career through an internship or work program.  A student faces several obstacles in entering the world of work. One of the obstacles experienced is a lack of awareness of the importance of appearance and attitude in a career. This training aims to explore and influence physical appearance and communication in building a professional image. The activity participants were Islamic boarding school students and students of the Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic Boarding School. The training method is in the form of direct action in a training class/workshop for two hours. This activity was attended by 80 students. The evaluation results showed that from the training and briefing activities, it was seen that 60% of the participants had improved their communication skills and had an attractive appearance. This can be seen from the results of the final evaluation in the form of practical tasks carried out by the participants. A total of 48 participants were fluent in communication practices and had an attractive appearance. Furthermore, 20 or 25% of people are less able to practice communication and look attractive, another 12 or 15% of people are unable to practice communication or look attractive.

Abstract

Abstract

The program "Simple Bouquet Homemade: Creative Business Innovation for Economic Empowerment of the People in the Blora Cursed Village" aims to improve the well-being of the people through simple bouquet making training that can be run as a creative undertaking. The program involved 30 participants from household mothers and village youths, who previously had no skills in the area of florist. The results of the program showed an improvement in the skills of participants in bouquet making, which was followed by an increase in household income by up to 20-30% after they started a business. In addition, the establishment of small business groups has successfully encouraged collaboration and economic independence among the participants. Nonetheless, some challenges such as access to raw materials and the constraints of online marketing technology need further attention. The programme successfully demonstrates that innovation in creative business can be an effective solution for empowering the economy of rural communities, and can be replicated in other areas with appropriate adjustments.
