Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the application of the guided discovery learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the matter of dividing fractions in the VA class of SDN 5 Palu. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, namely (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subjects in this study were all students of VA class at SDN 5 Palu for the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 24 students consisting of 14 female students and 10 male students. The type of data in this study is qualitative data supplemented by quantitative data. Qualitative data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and field notes. The quantitative data collection technique in this study was a written test. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the study show that learning with the guided discovery learning model could increase students’ learning outcomes of VA Class of SDN 5 Palu on the matter of division of fractions. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The learning outcomes of the first cycle were obtained at 62.5%, and the second cycle was obtained at 83.33%. The results of the analysis of the observation sheet of teacher and student activities in cycle 1 were in the sufficient category. In cycle 2, the teacher and student activity observation sheet increased because the teacher activity observation sheet was in the very good category and the student activity observation sheet was in the good category, so that the success indicators of the action have been achieved.

Abstract

Critical thinking is needed to seek new ideas and discoveries to solve complex life problems in the 21st century. One effort to meet these needs is to use a supportive learning model based on a team-based project. The model is directed to be able to influence the way of thinking of students who are more critical. However, the implementation of this learning has not been supported by mature learning tools, the modules that are currently owned still have some limitations because they were made at the beginning of the program implementation period and of course during that period certain conditions were found in the field that required adjustments and refinements to fit the context. problems encountered in the field. This research is a Research and Development study that uses the development steps developed by Borg and Gall including: 1) Needs Analysis; 2) Teaching Material Development Planning; 3) Design validation; 4) Product trials in small groups; 5) Product revision; and 6) Product trials on large groups. The data and data sources used are: (1) expert assessment data, (2) trial results data on small groups and (3) test results data on large groups. The implementation of this research was in the Tadulako University PGSD study program and the test subjects were students of the 2019/2010 class. The results of the research that has been carried out are the Team-Based Project-Based SD Numbers Learning Module on the Critical Thinking Ability of PGSD Study Program Students based on the results of validation from material experts and media experts as well as from the results of initial field trials and the results of the main field trials it can be concluded that the numbers learning module SD based Team Based Project for PGSD students is said to be Valid and practical so that this module is feasible to use.

Abstract

Along with development existing technology , implementation from Internet use for learning one of them is e-learning. On the situation the Covid 19 pandemic required online learning . Applied online learning No free from objective same learning . As partners and facilitators, lecturers demanded selecting and processing the learning process , so need consider the use of appropriate learning models with characteristics eye college. Selection of the learning model used influential to quality and yield learning. Study This held in framework test the effectiveness of the ViLCon blended e-learning model that has been developed in offline or online learning so learning going on with effective and efficient so that objective Study reached. Study This including quasi- experimental research . Research design experiment used in study is a one group pre-test post-test design. test used has analyzed its validity with tested validity and reliability. Validity test carried out on 40 students class A validity test instrument form question choice double. For measurement done with use help SPSS application. Score average test initial (pretest) understanding draft student before learning is of 38.33% of ideal score and percentage average posttest score of 74.63% of ideal score . Meaningfulness enhancement from percentage average pretest and posttest scores can represented by the average normalized gain that is of 0.59. If confirmed in category from Hake (1999), then results enhancement the including in category medium. this show that use of the VilCon Blended E-learning learning model effective in increase understanding draft students in lecture learning models math. Based on analysis the results and discussions that have been studied outlined can concluded that module VilCon Blended E-Learning learning in learning model lectures mathematics effective used For increase results learning and motivation Tadulako University PGSD student.
