Abstract

Memandang guru sebagai tenaga kerja profesional. maka usaha- usaha untuk membuat guru menjadi profesional tidak semata- mata hanya meningkatkan kompetensinya namun perlu juga memperhatikan guru dari segi yang lain seperti pemberian motivasi, bimbingan supervisi, intensif, gaji yang layak dengan keprofesionalnya, sehingga memungkinkan guru menjadi puas dalam bekerja sebagai pendidik. Kepuasan kerja berkenaan dengan kesesuaian antara harapan seseorang dengan realitanya yang didapatkan di lingkungan kerjanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif . Populasi penelitian adalah guru MA se Kabupaten Rembang baik yang PNS maupun honorer yang berjumlah 280 guru dari 10 MA dengan teknik proporsional random sampling.Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik uji tanda Rank Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan indikator Kompensasi , iklim sekolah, supervisi teknik dan karakteristik pekerjaan menunjukkan harapan lebih besar daripada realita yang dihadapi sehingga merasa tidak puas atau kecewa, Saran : 1) Faktor kompensasi yang berupa gaji dengan memperhatikan dan meningkatkan gaji yang diperoleh, 2) Faktor Iklim kerja yang diantaranya hubungan dengan rekan kerja dan peluang mengembangkan karir dan jabatan perlu diciptakan suasana yang kondusif, 3) Faktor Supervisi Teknis perlu mengevaluasi dan menemukan teknik supervisi yang efektif dalam membantu menyelesaikan masalah pembelajaran, 4) Faktor karakteristik pekerjaan perlu memposisikan dan pemberikan tugas mengajar sesuai dengan kualifikasi keilmuannyaThere are some efforts for teachers to be regarded as a professional. In addition to improve their competence, they should consider the other aspects like motivation, supervision, intensive, salary based on their professionalism that enable them to achieve their satisfaction as a teacher. This satisfaction relates to the balance of the expectation and reality of their surrounding. This research is a survey using quantitative approach. The population is the teachers of MA in Rembang regency included civil servant and honorary which amounts to 280 teachers of 10 MA with proportional random sampling method and also using the analysis Rank Wilcoxon test method for the data analysis. The result shows the whole compensation, school climate, supervision technique and job characteristic showing bigger expectation than the reality, which leads to dissatisfaction. Suggestion : 1) The compensation which consider and improve the salary, 2) The conducive climate between partners and the opportunity to develop the carrier 3) Supervision technique that should evaluate in reveal the the most effective one to solve the problems in learning. 4) The job characteristic should base on the qualification of each teachers subject

Abstract

Backgrounds. As educational institutions with Islamic characteristics, madrasahs play unique roles and bear special responsibilities in this national project. Madrasahs function not only as institutions for knowledge transfer, but also as centers for character formation and religious understanding of Indonesia's young Muslim generation. Aims. This research conducts an in-depth analysis of the religious moderation culture development model at MTsN 3 Surabaya City, positioned as a pioneer in responding to the national agenda for strengthening religious moderation. Facing challenges of intolerance and radicalism, this madrasah has designed a holistic and systematic program architecture. Methods. Using qualitative analysis methods on institutional publication data and news reports, this study identifies three main strategic pillars: (1) student empowerment as agents of change through the flagship program "Young Ambassadors of Religious Moderation"; (2) institutional ecosystem strengthening through in-depth teacher training and internal knowledge production in the form of dozens of moderation books; and (3) holistic integration of moderation values into curriculum, school culture, and strategic partnerships. Result. The main findings indicate that this strategy not only successfully forms tolerant, prosocial, and nationally minded student characters, but also fundamentally transforms the school climate into a safer, more harmonious, and collaborative environment. Conclusion. The central thesis of this report is that the comprehensive implementation of religious moderation at MTsN 3 Surabaya City functions as an instrumental mechanism to realize an inclusive education model based on the Child-Friendly School (CFS) framework. Implementation. This model proves effective in translating macro policies into impactful micro practices, offering valuable insights for other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study looks at how eighth-grade students feel about using self-rating when they write in English. The goal is to see how self-rating affects their understanding of their writing skills, their motivation, and the quality of their writing. The research uses a qualitative case study approach, where data was gathered through interviews with students from class 8D at MTsN 3 Kota Surabaya. The interviews were done online using Google Meet, and the questions were in Indonesian to make sure students understood them clearly. The results show that students mostly liked self-rating because it helped them become more aware of their strengths and weaknesses, improved their writing, and made them more motivated. But some students also mentioned problems like not knowing exactly how to evaluate their work and feeling unsure about their abilities. The study recommends including guided self-rating exercises in writing lessons to help students be more independent and reflective in their learning.

Abstract

This article discusses students' perspectives on the benefits of using video learning materials in the classroom to improve listening skills. By gathering students' views and experiences, this study identifies how video materials can increase engagement, understanding, and information retention. Through qualitative analysis, the findings show that the use of videos not only makes learning more interesting but also helps students overcome challenges in understanding various accents and intonations. This article aims to provide insights into the potential of video as an effective learning tool and its implications for developing essential listening skills in academic and everyday communication contexts. Therefore, this study is expected to contribute to more innovative teaching practices that are responsive to students' needs.
