Abstract

Surya Daily, one of the leading newspapers in Surabaya and part of Tribbunnews, always strives to maintain user satisfaction in obtaining accurate, reliable and equitable information in the aspect of its distribution of various types of published news. Newspaper development continues to increase in line with the rapid development of technology, causing competitive conditions in the information and journalism fields. Analysis of user behavior through Cyber ​​Profiling is one way to find out the patterns and trends that are being of interest based on the application of Log Analysis. The application of this analysis requires a classification of data and information, which in this study applies K Means Clustering as a method of classifying log data from the Surya Surabaya Daily website. This study resulted in grouping users into 2 and 3 clusters through silhouette coefficients with validation values ​​of 0.48896 and 0.53899, then analysis information related to the most accessed Health category (29.5%) and the number of page views (53.2%) of all categories available on the website. Surya Daily. The results of the identification of cluster groups with low-high-moderate characteristics which refer to the level of distribution of categories and the number of activities in each category, and visualized in the form of a dashboard which is tested through SUS which produces a value of 97.5 and represents Grade "A" and "Excellent" based on adjective rating, and best imaginable for stakeholders.
