Abstract

This study aims to find out how the distribution of spatial patterns of the development of small and medium industries and household industries in Mojokerto Regency. The research method used is the Data Collection Method with the Annual Large and Medium Industry Survey (IBS) carried out in full for all industrial companies classified as large and medium which are recorded in the BPS Industry Directory (complete enumeration) and several industry surveys conducted by researchers by conducting a sample and obtained the results that making small and medium industries and home industries a strategy for industrial development in triggering economic growth in Mojokerto Regency.

Abstract

This study analyzes the causes, consequences and solutions to portrait poverty in post-reform Mojokerto Regency, including: Poverty Line, Number of Poor Population, Percentage of Poor Population, Consequences and Solutions to Post-Reform Poverty. Poverty is a very dynamic problem that depends on the challenges faced. In Indonesia, each government period has its own focus and character in efforts to reduce poverty. Preparing for the analysis requires information to be used in the research process. Information in the form of research published by the Central Bureau of Statistics of Finland (BPS), other information from the BPS of East Java Province, BPS of Mojokerto Regency, using time series data (time series data) at least from the most recent period of 3-5 years, and using djpb data from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. The results of the study show that the poverty line is known to be directly proportional to the increase in the number of poor people in 2020. This indicates that the increase in the price of food and other staple goods will be far above the average. spending of the poor. The very poor and the poor remained in place, while the near poor became even poorer as their spending could no longer keep up with the rising poverty line. It is hoped that during this reform period, the Mojokerto Regency Government will be able to overcome the impacts and consequences and find solutions or steps to reduce the current poverty problems in Mojokerto Regency.

Abstract

Recycling is the processing of waste or remaining waste products into new products that can be used appropriately again with one of the goals being to preserve the environment. This community service is carried out by selecting household waste objects in the form of utilizing cooking oil waste into a useful material that will reduce the negative impact of used cooking waste. The public's lack of understanding and knowledge about how to process these remaining materials, turns used objects into less useful items so that many are thrown away and not used and can also reduce plastic waste. The use of smartphones presents a great opportunity to promote products through social media. In this research, a digital marketing promotion strategy was implemented through social applications. This service activity will discuss one of the business opportunities that can be done on a home scale with opportunities that are quite promising at the moment, namely the use of used cooking oil as raw material for aromatherapy candles. By implementing the right marketing strategy, it can help reach a wider consumer market so that new potential consumers come in who are willing to visit the stand and buy the product. By designing attractive digital promotions, the brand appearance of the product will also be more easily recognized by the public.
