Abstract

Character education needs to color every level of education from pre-school to tertiary education even in environments where individuals interact and communicate, because the environment will greatly affect a person's personality, even the theory of transformation says that it is the environment that shapes a person's personality more than genetics (heredity). . The method in this study is a literature review that discusses the importance of integrating character education into counseling guidance. So that the implementation of guidance and counseling in schools can actually be carried out in several forms, not only in a separate room with formal treatment but a counselor/teacher/classroom teacher needs to know the personality and psychology of children who are in need of help. It may require self-service and may also require other people or groups to complete it.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the application of tangram media to improve the cognitive abilities of group A children at BA 'Aisyiyah Kuncen Cawas Klaten, 2) to determine the improvement of cognitive abilities through tangram media to group A children at BA 'Aisyiyah Kuncen Cawas Klaten. The research method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, assignment techniques. The subjects in this study were group A students at BA 'Aisyiyah Kuncen Cawas Klaten, totaling 24 children consisting of 15 boys and 9 girls. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the application of tangram media to increase cognitive abilities in group A children in BA 'Aisyiyah Kuncen Cawas Klaten by a) introducing tangram media as a cognitive learning medium in group A, b) introducing the names of geometric shapes to tangram, c) move the tangram while counting it. 2) increasing cognitive abilities through tangram media in group A children at BA 'Aisyiyah Kuncen Cawas Klaten has increased. The score obtained in the pre cycle was 39.58%, cycle 1 was 59.37%, and cycle 2 was 86.45%. So the increase obtained is 46.87%. This means that there is a significant increase from the pre-cycle to cycle 2 results which show an increase in children's cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Libraries have an important role in the field of education, for research purposes, preservation of information resources and recreation areas. Libraries also have a role in increasing the intelligence and empowerment of the nation, as a human person who always wants to advance and the development of institutions that are increasingly experiencing intense competition. This study seeks to see the role of the library in improving the quality of elementary schools at SDIT Salsabila 2 Klaseman, both with regard to student achievement and the progress of the institution. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data collection is done by looking directly at the object of research (direct observation) interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that libraries have an important role in improving the quality of elementary schools such as the development of library facilities; there is a special room, a growing collection of books, modern service systems, air-conditioned room facilities, computers and LCD projectors are available and also supports children's achievements in winning several championships including in the PAI quiz competition and the MIPA Olympiad

Abstract

Fine morotic is the ability to move related to smooth muscles. Early childhooddevelopment is the foundation in carrying out developmental tasks in adulthood. Thisstudy aims to determine the process of implementing the activity of squeezing water withsponge media in improving fine motor skills and to find out how much it increases finemotor skills in the PAUD Al Furqoon Playgroup of Masjid Raya Klaten after theimplementation of these activities. This research method is a Classroom ActionResearch (CAR) with two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, actionimplementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques with interviews,observation, performance and documentation. The subjects of this study were the children of the PAUD Al Furqoon Playgroup of the Great Mosque of Klaten, totaling 25children. The results of this study indicate an increase in fine motor skills throughsqueezing water with sponge media in children's Play Group PAUD Al Furqoon MasjidRaya Klaten. The increase in children's motor skills through squeezing water withsponge media are: from pre-cycle 20%, then in the first cycle it increases to 54%, untilthe second cycle the increase is 82%. Then there was an increase of 62%. So it wasconcluded that squeezing water with a sponge media can improve fine motor skills inchildren in the Al Furqoon PAUD Play Group Klaten Grand Mosque.

Abstract

Education is a basic need for every human being which begins with education in the family and then at school, formal, informal and non-formal with different learning characteristics. Education in the family is the main education that will be identified by more children, especially from both parents. Informal learning, namely Kindergarten, is pre-school education that is useful for supporting the stimulation of AUD potential that has been instilled in the family with the principle of fun and enjoy. Discipline behavior is needed by every child so that in the future they can live happily in society because they are used to following the mutually agreed rules. This article is important for parents and educators to know so that children have mental and physical preparation so that they have readiness to face the transition period, namely the transition period. from pre-school education to elementary school education.

Abstract

Children are the mandate of God who is born by bringing each other's nature, parents have an obligation to provide the best education for their growth and development and educators are the second parents in the school who will support by stimulating various potential children. The process of growth and development of children sometimes experiences obstacles to achieving the ability of minimum indicators in the school curriculum. Barriers experienced at an early age can be a problem for future child development. The situation that needs to be understood by parents and educators is to equate perceptions of children's problems so that they get guidance and counseling as needed. Problems faced by early childhood usually consist of physical-motoric, intellectual, social, moral, emotional and spiritual problems. The different perceptions of child problems are caused by the behavior, attitudes and abilities that children display when they are at home different from when they are at school. To strengthen the argument about children's problems, parents and educators sometimes have difficulty communicating. Parents do not accept child shortages, while educators face their own problems in school. To get a collective agreement requires effective communication between educators and parents of students. As taught in Islam that to invite to the goodness and truth of a Muslim needs to speak well, not to deteriorate or to find fault with others. Islamic values ​​such as life goals, life tests, the advantages and disadvantages of every human being that has been studied, will be able to strengthen educators and parents in helping to solve children's problems so that they are ready to continue to a higher level.

Abstract

This research talks about the process of learning Islamic characters during the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced schools to change their learning strategies to switch to using online. This condition makes parents (as teacher partners) find it difficult to provide guidance and assistance to students. The object of research is in KB Qurrota A'yun Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects of four teachers and six parents of students. The data collection methods are observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data used triangulation to check the results of observations and interviews. The results show that the role of the teacher acts as a motivator for parents in providing direction to children so that they are enthusiastic about collecting assignments that are online. While the development of Islamic character that is carried out is (1) in the realm of worship (congregational prayer, reciting, memorizing short letters, memorizing 10 Asmaul Husna) (2) and in the realm of behavior (speaking politely, honestly, answering greetings and saying greetings)
