Abstract

Prenatal yoga is a skill to cultivate the mind, in the form of a comprehensive personality development technique and readiness for pregnant women both physically, psychologically and spiritually. Pregnant women are said to be physically ready if they are not easily tired, weak, have increased flexibility and endurance and decreased back pain. Problems of third trimester pregnant women at PMB Fatma Baradja, STr.Keb Most mothers complain of lower back pain and feel anxious before delivery. Implementation at PMB Fatma Baradja, STr.Keb by providing health education about third trimester yoga for pregnant women to reduce back pain and help deliver safe and comfortable deliveries. At the time of conducting health education, demonstrations of third trimester yoga movements were also carried out for 15 pregnant women. The instrument used was a questionnaire about third trimester yoga knowledge in pregnant women. The knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about yoga before health education was carried out was still lacking, namely 10 mothers (66.67%), while 5 mothers (33.33%) had good knowledge. Knowledge after health education has increased knowledge, namely 15 mothers (100%) mothers with good knowledge about third trimester yoga as an effort to reduce back pain and mothers have understood and can practice third trimester yoga movements. Health education activities about yoga in the third trimester as an effort to reduce back pain and help safe and comfortable deliveries are a means of education and discussion that can provide many benefits for third trimester pregnant women so they can deal with back pain problems that are experienced independently. ABSTRAK Prenatal yoga merupakan keterampilan mengolah pikiran, berupa teknik pengembangan kepribadian secara menyeluruh dan kesiapan ibu hamil baik fisik, psikologis dan spiritual. Ibu hamil dikatakan siap secara fisikapabila tidak mudah lelah, lemas, fleksibilitas dan daya tahan tubuh meningkat dan penurunan nyeri punggung. Permasalahan ibu hamil Trimester III di PMB Fatma Baradja, STr.Keb sebagian besar ibu mengeluh nyeri punggung bawah dan merasa cemas saat menjelang persalinan. Pelaksanaan di PMB Fatma Baradja, STr.Keb dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang yoga ibu hamil Trimester III  untuk mengurangi nyeri punggung dan membantu persalinan aman dan nyaman. Pada saat melakukan pendidikan kesehatan juga dilakukan demonstrasi gerakan yoga trimester III pada 15 ibu hamil. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tentang pengetahuan yoga trimester III pada ibu hamil. Pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III tentang yoga pada ibu hamil sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan masih kurang yaitu 10 ibu (66,67%), sedangkan 5 ibu (33,33%) pengetahuan baik. Pengetahuan setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yaitu 15 ibu (100%) ibu dengan pengetahuan baik tentang yoga trimester III sebagai upaya mengurangi nyeri punggung serta ibu telah memahami dan dapat mempraktikkan gerakan yoga trimester III. Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan tentang yoga trimester III sebagai upaya mengurangi nyeri punggung dan membantu persalinan aman dan nyaman ini menjadi sarana edukasi dan diskusi yang dapat memberikan banyak manfaat bagi ibu hamil trimester III sehingga dapat mengatasi masalah nyeri punggung yang di alami secara mandiri
