Abstract

Biogas is an alternative energy sources as a substitute for fossil fuels in household activities daily, but there are obstacles in the use of biogas, namely the difficulty of arranging a flame that is stable and fuel consumption relatively less efficient biogas. So it takes a design development system that will produce a burning stove produces biogas-fueled stove fits the purpose of research, on the other hand biogas stove should be simple, cheap production price, maximum efficiency and safe to use. Stages in the study include: desk assessment, creation of objective requirements design, manufacture conceptual and basic design, manufacture real stove. As for knowing the performance of the stove carried stove performance tests are: test flame stability and efficiency. The results showed that the efficiency of the biogas stove design results in only 31 percent higher than the efficiency of biogas stoves old design, while the fuel consumption of biogas stoves new design is 16 percent lower when compared with fuel consumption of biogas stoves old design. In terms of manufacture and ease of repair and maintenance of gas cookers new design is more easily repaired and easy to make and simple in form compared with the old design biogas stoves.

Abstract

The village of Guli has been carrying out timber industry activities for a long time, more than 14 years. Products from the timber industry in Guli village today: furniture, frames and doors. These production activities have used quite advanced mechanical equipment, but the products produced are still very standard, there is no art / art touch that can increase the selling value of the products produced. This research uses descriptive method, which describes the theory of productivity and develops it in the concept of a community empowerment program in Guli village. The research results are expected to increase the productivity of the Guli village timber industry by applying the Guli village resource development program through the Guli Village Posyantek, so that the empowerment of Guli village youth will occur and it is hoped that it will increase Bumdes assets. This empowerment program does not change the structure of the timber business that has been run by the people of Guli village.

Abstract

The use of UAVs has begun to penetrate the world of agriculture. One of the functions of UAVs in agriculture is to spray pesticides. The pesticides used are liquid so that when the UAV is airborne and maneuvering, the fluid experiences fluid motion or sloshing. Sloshing that occurs can cause the balance of the UAV to be disturbed. To overcome this, a bulkhead or baffle is needed in the reservoir in order to reduce fluid movement. In the case of the research studied, the simulation of sloshing in the reservoir with the presence of baffles and without the presence of baffles. This research uses different reservoir variations and different water levels, namely 55 mm, 35 mm and 15 mm. Simulations are carried out during cruising and maneuvering flights at a speed of 2 m/s. The container modeling uses the Catia V5R20 software and the simulation uses the Ansys 14.5 software. The simulation results show that the effect of baffle placement is more visible if the baffle is placed in the xy plane, while for the baffle placement in the yz plane, the force caused by sloshing is greater. In spraying the UAV-Sprayer will more often fly forward (cruise), while for maneuvers (right or left) it is only done occasionally/not too often. So that giving baffles is more effective in the xy plane because it can reduce sloshing better than the baffles in the yz plane.

Abstract

UAV aircraft with a fixed wing configuration with multi-rotor are aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). In designing the wing structure of aircraft, the weight factor and the strength of the wing structure are factors that need to be considered. The use of sandwich composite materials on UAV wings is expected to be able to meet the requirements of UAV aircraft, namely having a light weight, having high rigidity and strength. In this study, a comparative analysis the strength of the sandwich composite wing structure with the balsa wood wing of the UAV VTOL VX-2 aircraft was carried out. The steps taken are to model the composite wing structure of sandwiches and balsa wood using CATIA. Performing the process of structural analysis using ANSYS software. Both half-span models are subjected to lift and vertical take-off loads. From the analysis results, the sandwich composite wing (glass fiber skin with styrofoam core) is stronger than the balsa wood wing structure under vertical take off loads. While the VTOL rods, upper and lower spars of the balsa wood wing model are stronger than the sandwich structure under lift loads, but overall the sandwich wing structure is stronger than the balsa wood wing

Abstract

SMK Muhamadiyah Sentolo terletak di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Mata pencaharian masyarakat di daerah ini 80% adalah petani yang memiliki etos kerja yang baik..Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam upaya mengembangkan pertanian antara lain menurunnya minat para generasi muda terhadap usaha di bidang pertanian khususnya tanaman padi, hal tersebut disebabkan karena proses pengerjaan terhadap kegiatan pertanian tersebut relatif cukup melelahkan. Sedangkan generasi tua sudah selayaknya diganti untuk kemudian agar kegiatan pertanian terus berlanjut. Penelitian ini melakukan studi komparasi dengan menggunakan teknologi yang mendukung proses pemupukan cair dengan bantuan drone. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan membandingkan penggunaan teknologi drone untuk pemupukan dengan teknologi konvensional atau manual pada tanaman padi selama satu kali musim tanam. Hasil penyemprotan drone yang diperlukan untuk pemupukan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 0.25 jam, pupuk yang dibutuhkan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 40 liter, kerja yang dibutuhkan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 160 liter/jam.

Abstract

Sentolo Muhammadiyah Vocational School is located in the Kulon Progo area, more precisely on Sentolo-Magelang, Ngeplang, Sentolo, Kulon Progo roads. His areas of expertise are Motorcycle Business Engineering (TBSM), Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO), Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). SMK Muhammadiyah Sentolo continues to carry out the process to improve and develop itself. One of them is by creating a Plus Program with the aim of preparing graduates who have resilience and independence. One of the plus programs is agroindustry Therefore, it is necessary to introduce agricultural processing methods using technology, especially technology that supports the fertilization process using liquid fertilizer. This Community Service Activity will introduce the use of fertilization technology using liquid media with the help of drones. The result of this service activity is that students know that the use of drones to help the fertilization process is meaningful for farmers, so students feel eager and enthusiastic to learn how to use the drone. On the farmer's side, they feel that the presence of drones applied by SMK Muhamaadiyah Sentolo students is a new hope that will be useful for helping farmers
