Abstract

Imagery is one of the many poetic expression techniques used by poets to optimize the effect of affirming the sensory experience in the poet and arouse it to the reader or listener through written language. This study aims to describe the types of images in the collection of poetry Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo. This study aims to describe (1) how the form of images in a collection of poetry and death is increasingly familiar to the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo, (2) How is the meaning of imagery in a collection of poems Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo. This research is in the collection of poetry Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo using the concept of imagery. In addition to the concept of imagery, this study uses stylistic studies. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research data is in the form of quotations derived from the collection of poetry Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo. The results of the research in a collection of poems Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo found the existence of images in the form of form and meaning. In the form of images that contain 6 elements of imagery, there are images of vision, hearing, touch, smell, motion, and feeling. The meaning of this image uses clear images and creates an interesting atmosphere. Based on the analysis of the images in the collection of poetry Dan Kematian Makin Akrab the work of Subagio Sastrowardoyo, it can be concluded that the collection of poems uses images to express the poet's ideas and imagination. The imagery contained in a collection of poems is able to provide a clear picture and create a more lively and interesting atmosphere so that the reader can feel what the author meant in the poem.

Abstract

This research aims to explain and explore the text structure in the legal and crime reporting column on CNNIndonesia.com through Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis approach. The main focus in this research is on micro structure. Micro structure refers to the smallest elements in discourse which include details forming discourse to give a more lively impression to the reader which includes aspects such as sentence form, coherence between sentences, as well as the choice of lexicon or vocabulary. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data used for this research is in the form of digital text from the law and crime section on the CNNIndonesia.com website. Data was collected using the note-taking method and analyzed using the description method to define the elements contained in the microstructure of legal and criminal reporting. The results of the research will explore how the elements of the microstructure presented by the author can influence readers' perceptions in news discourse. Microstructure research in legal and criminal reporting sections can provide valuable insight into how digital news media, especially CNNIndonesia.com, is able to manage words and present information regarding the news issues discussed, so that it can influence readers' perceptions of the text they read. This research can open up the reader's critical thinking through word choice and the way information is presented in the text so that it influences the information the reader receives.   Keywords: sentence form; coherence; lexicon

Abstract

Criminal Rubric Discourse in Online Media Jawa Pos Radar Madura ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis wacana rubrik yang memuat berita kriminal di koran daring Jawa Pos Radar Madura. Penganalisisan wacana pada rubrik berita kriminal didasarkan pada struktur berita yang ditulis dapat merujuk pada pemarjinalan posisi dalam suatu wacana. Kelompok dominan lebih memegang kendali dalam menafsirkan suatu peristiwa dan pemakainya, sementara kelompok lain posisinya rendah cenderung untuk terus menerus sebagai objek pemaknaan dalam berita. Wacana rubrik criminal ini akan dikaji dengan pendekatan analisis wacana Theo Van Leeuwen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dengan teknik baca catat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dalam wacana  berita kriminal yang terdapat bentuk pasivasi. Pemakaian kalimat pasif yang digunakan oleh wartawan dalam menyampaikan suatu wacana dapat menghilangkan aktor (pelaku) tindakan kriminal. Bentuk objektivasi dalam wacana kriminal akan memberikan informasi yang lebih konkrit terhadap pembaca karena menggunakan data sesuai dengan yang ditemukan di lapangan. Kemunculan abstraksi dalam wacana berita Nampak pada penyebutan secara berulang-ulang kejadian yang telah disebutkan sehingga memengaruhi pembaca untuk mencapai simpulan. Dalam wacana berita kriminal juga terdapat kategorisasi sering disampaikan dalam bentuk ciri fisik pelaku. Wacana berita kriminal dapat memengaruhi konsepsi dan persepsi pembaca dan akan menghasilkan keberpihakan.Kata kunci: wacana kriminal, inklusi, eksklusiABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the rubric discourse that contains criminal news in the online newspaper Jawa Pos Radar Madura . Discourse analysis in the crime news rubric is based on the structure of the written news which can refer to the marginalization of positions in a discourse. The dominant groups have powerful control of interpreting an event and its users, while the other groups have a low position which tends to continuously as the object of meaning in the news. The discourse on the criminal rubric will be studied using Theo Van Leeuwen's discourse analysis approach. The research method used is the documentation method with reading and note-taking techniques. The result of this research is that in the discourse of criminal news there is a form of passivation. The use of passive sentences used by journalists in conveying a discourse can eliminate actors (agent) of criminal acts. The form of objectification in criminal discourse will provide more concrete information to the reader because it uses data in accordance with what is found in the field. The emergence of abstraction in news discourse appears in the repeated mention of the events that have been mentioned. Consequently, it influences the reader to reach a conclusion. In the discourse of criminal news, there is also categorization that is often conveyed in the form of the physical characteristics of the perpetrator. Crime news discourse can influence the reader's conception and perception and will result in partisanship.Keyword: Criminal discourse, inclusive, exclusive

Abstract

Learning motivation in anecdotal text material remains an important issue in Indonesian language instruction, particularly due to the continued dominance of conventional teaching approaches and the limited use of engaging instructional media. This study aimed to develop motion graphics-based audiovisual media to enhance tenth-grade students’ learning motivation in anecdotal text learning. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants involved 22 students from class X-10 of SMAN 1 Kamal. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, teacher response questionnaires, and student learning motivation questionnaires. The findings revealed that the developed audiovisual media met the criteria of being highly feasible based on expert and practitioner validation. The implementation of the media also contributed to improving students’ learning motivation, as indicated by a moderate N-Gain score. The novelty of this study lies in the contextual development of motion graphics media specifically designed for anecdotal text learning, combining dynamic visual presentation with interactive learning support to encourage greater student engagement. Therefore, motion graphics-based audiovisual media can be considered an innovative alternative for Indonesian language learning at the secondary school level. ABSTRAK Motivasi belajar siswa pada materi teks anekdot masih memerlukan penguatan, khususnya karena proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia cenderung didominasi metode konvensional serta penggunaan media yang kurang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media audio visual berbasis motion graphics sebagai upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X pada materi teks anekdot. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 22 siswa kelas X-10 SMAN 1 Kamal. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, validasi ahli, angket respon guru, serta angket motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual berbasis motion graphics yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori sangat layak berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi. Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran juga berdampak pada peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui hasil analisis N-Gain pada kategori sedang. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan media motion graphics yang dirancang secara kontekstual sesuai karakteristik materi teks anekdot, sehingga mampu mengintegrasikan penyajian materi yang visual, dinamis, dan lebih menarik bagi siswa. Dengan demikian, media audio visual berbasis motion graphics memiliki potensi untuk digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada jenjang sekolah menengah.
