Abstract

Hipertensi atau dikenal dengan tekanan darah tinggi adalah penyakit kronik akibat desakan darah yang berlebihan dan hampir tidak konstan pada arteri. Hipertensi dikenal dengan istilah “The Silent Killer” karena seringkali penderita hipertensi tanpa merasakan sesuatu gangguan atau gejala. Asupan garam yang tinggi dan Kebiasaan  merokok akan  menyebabkan  pengeluaran kelebihan  dari  hormon  natriouretik yang  secara  tidak  langsung  akan  meningkatkan  tekanan  darah. Bila tidak dilakukan penanganan, sekitar 70% pasien hipertensi kronis akan  meninggal karena jantung koroner atau gagal jantung, 15% terkena kerusakan jaringan otak, dan 10% mengalami gagal ginjal. Namun demikian, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dan pengendalian hipertensi dapat menekan risiko hingga 50%.  Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi untuk mengetahui kondisi lingkungan masyarakatnya. Target capaian dari pengabdian  masyarakat ini yaitu dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang cara Meningkatkan Kepedulian Masyarakat akan Pentingya Kesehatan Khususnya terhadap Hipertensi. Kegiatan inti yakni tanggal 16 Mei 2022 dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB yang dimulai dengan masuk room Zoom Meeting, mengisi absensi. Pada acara tersebut dilakukan dalam beberapa sesi. Acara diawali dengan pemutaran video promosi UTA’45, Pembukaan dan pengisian absensi ke-1, Sambutan , Pelaksanaan Pretest sebelum acara tersebut sebanyak 55,98% sudah  memahami cara meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat akan Pentingnya mengetahui penyakit Hipertensi., Pemaparan Materi, Sesi Tanya  jawab, Pelaksanaan Posttest  pasca acara tersebut, sebanyak 75,4% sudah  mengetahui cara meningkatkan Kepedulian Masyarakat akan Pentingya mengetahui penyakit hipertensi., Kuis, Pengisian absensi ke-2, Penutup dan Sesi Dokumentasi.

Abstract

Ganoderma lucidum is one of the medicinal mushrooms that has been extensively researched due to its bioactive compounds, particularly polysaccharides, triterpenoids, and phenolic compounds, which exhibit a wide range of pharmacological activities. Various extraction methods have been developed to optimally obtain these bioactive components, ranging from conventional techniques like hot water and ethanol extraction to modern methods such as ultrasonic extraction, microwave-assisted extraction, and enzyme-based combinations. This review article aims to identify the types of extraction methods used on G. lucidum and evaluate their effectiveness based on the resulting active compound composition and biological activity. The review results indicate that differences in solvents, temperature, duration, and processing techniques significantly affect the yield and stability of bioactive components. The extracted compounds have been proven to possess antioxidant, antimicrobial, hepatoprotective, immunomodulatory, and antitumor activities, although their effectiveness varies across studies due to the lack of standardisation in the extraction process. This review emphasises the importance of selecting the appropriate extraction method based on the target compounds, as well as the need for further research to standardise the process and quantitatively compare the effectiveness of the methods. Thus, the therapeutic potential of G. lucidum can be utilised more optimally in the development of herbal-based health and pharmaceutical products.Keywords: Ganoderma lucidum, extraction method, bioactive, effectiveness
