Abstract

The application of basic education in shaping the mentality and personality of the student regiment at IAIN Palu so that it can shape the mental and personality of the menwa members at IAIN Palu. The inhibiting factors in the process of applying basic education in boosting the mental and personality of the menwa in IAIN Palu are the equipment for training activities, the quantity of menwa in IAIN Palu, and the members of the menwa having difficulty spending time. Supporting factors are the support of the institute, the Central Sulawesi Menwa Commander, and the support of the Menwa alumni. The implementation of basic education in shaping mental and personality is the manifestation of the character of Cinta Tanah Air in the Student Regiment of the State Islamic Institute of Palu (IAIN) Palu which is carried out through education, coaching, and activities, in the implementation of basic education in shaping mental and personality in the Student Regiment of the Institute of Religion Islamic State (IAIN) Palu for Guides and Senior Student Regiments should be more active, and need to be regulated in a specific regulation, to be more clear and detailed.

Abstract

Perkembangan media informasi elektronik melakukan peran besar dan bahkan menentukan gaya hidup individu. Teknologi elektronik seperti komputer, faksimili dan internet telah mengubah lingkungan informasi dari lingkungan lokal menjadi lingkungan nasional dan internasional. Dalam konteks inilah pendidikan Islam harus menghasilkan sumber daya manusia tidak hanya sebagai penerima informasi tetapi juga sebagai pengguna informasi yang dapat mengelola informasi yang bermanfaat bagi kecakapan hidupnya dalam menghadapi globalisasi informasi.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to find out the contribution of Islamic education values in marriage according to the customs of the tribe in district of Banggai Bulagi. This study used qualitative method. While the data was gathered through direct observation, interviews, and document. The results show that (1) the tradition of pasai is carried out with the intention of fulfilling the provisions of the applicable customs and helping to meet the costs of holding the wedding party in the women's family. (2) implementation of marriage according to the customs of the Bulagi tribe only through poiyas stage. Then the realization of the values of the Islamic education in marriage according to the customs of the tribe of Banggai district of Bulagi consists of three extant value i.e. value of belief, value of equality, and the value of morals. (3) A marriage according to the Banggai customs, carried out in accordance with customary paths and stages, is more steady in understanding the values ​​of Islamic education. The implication of this research is, the role of religious figures, custom figures, public figures, are very influential on society of the tribe in the village of Banggai Bulagi to keep the value of education of Islam applied in any tradition and instilling the teachings of Islamic religion to the younger generation to avoid pregnancy outside of marriage.

Abstract

Keunggulan yang dimilki suatu bangsa dan negara tidak terlepas dari kemajuan masyarakatnya. Masyarakat yang berperadaban tinggi dan modern memiliki perbedaan dengan masyarakat primitif, tidak berbudaya dan awam. Masyarakat madani tidak muncul sekedar wacana saja, melainkan ada beberapa hal yang melatarbelakangi munculnya masyarakat madani. Disinilah pendidikan agama Islam mengambil peran dalam pembentukannya. Seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman fenomena baru mulai bermunculan di masyarakat, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pendidikan Islam ditengah persaingan pendidikan masyarakat, tetap saja berusaha untuk eksis dengan beberapa perkembangan serta inovasi untuk kemajuannya dalam melaksanakan perubahan adat, budaya serta pola masyarakat dengan tetap menjaga toleransi antar umat beragama, hidup saling menghargai serta tolong menolong dalam membentuk masyarakat yang beriman, berilmu dan memiliki daya saing dalam hal teknologi. Sehingga yang menjadi perhatian bagi kita adalah peran pendidikan agama Islam, masyarakat madani dan pendidikan karakter.
