Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi media dalam mencerdaskan generasi masa depan bangsa. Pendidikan mengembangkan kemampuan dan potensi anak menjadi manusia seutuhnya. Salah satu pendidikan yang penting untuk dipelajari oleh anak yaitu kemampuan numerasi. Kemampuan numerasi merupakan keterampilan operasi hitung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang berguna sebagai bekal anak dalam mengasah kemampuan penyelesaian masalah. Panti asuhan merupakan salah satu tempat yang dapat membantu anak untuk mendapatkan hak dan kesejahteraan yang sama dalam berpendidikan. Oleh karena itu, salah satu wadah sebagai tempat pengabdian kami untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan potensi numerasi anak yaitu Panti Asuhan Hidayatullah Palembang. Salah satu dasar dalam melatih kemampuan numerasi anak yaitu dengan metode jarimatika. Melatih anak melalui metode jarimatika dapat memberikan pengalaman baik kepada anak dalam belajar operasi hitung. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah kami lakukan, terdapat beberapa masalah yang umum terjadi pada anak seperti kesulitan dalam berhitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut, kami melakukan tiga tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa dari 19 peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini 73% diantaranya sudah memahami dan mampu menerapkan metode jarimatika ini dengan baik dan benar. Sedangkan 27% lainnya sudah mampu memahami konsep dari metode tersebut akan tetapi masih suka keliru dalam pengaplikasian di jari.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: the results of instilling social attitudes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 17 Tanjung Batu through social studies learning. This research is a descriptive qualitative study of cultivating social attitudes in grade IV students of SD Negeri 17 Tanjung Batu through Social Studies learning which was collected through observation and interviews as well as documentation. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman Model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the study showed that: the social attitudes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 17 Tanjung Batu were instilled through social studies learning by instilling the values ​​of students' social attitudes with social studies learning strategies, the teacher's ability to give examples of good interaction attitudes to students both in the classroom as well as outside the classroom, associating social studies subject matter with the values ​​of social attitudes and by providing positive sentences that contain social attitude values ​​at the beginning of learning, using social studies learning IT media, and conducting evaluations related to social attitudes. The results of inculcating social attitudes of class IV students at SD Negeri 17 Tanjung Batu through social studies learning have been embedded in the Good category. The teacher seems to have succeeded in instilling the value of social attitudes in accordance with the indicators that the researcher has described, namely: discipline, vocational, and tolerance in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 17 Tanjung Batu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of understanding of ethnic diversity in my country through the media of maps in grade IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjung Batu. The main object or informant in this study was the teacher at SD Negeri 14 Tanjung Batu while the students were the key informants. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques include interviews, tests and documentation, while data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research on understanding IPS, interpreting, exemplifying, classifying, drawing inferences, dissecting and explaining that it can be seen that in the very good category there are 12 students, in the good category there are 8 students and in the sufficient category there are 3 students so that the level of understanding of Social Sciences with an average value 78 is included in the good category. From the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the subject matter of ethnic diversity in my country through the media of maps in grade IV SD Negeri 14 Tanjung Batu is good.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' social literacy skills in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject in Grade III at SDN 137 Palembang. Social literacy is a crucial aspect of character development that includes four main indicators: self-awareness, emotional understanding and regulation, understanding of social situations, and relationship-building. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results show that students demonstrate a fairly good ability to understand themselves and regulate their emotions, especially in real-life social situations such as helping peers or working collaboratively. Their understanding of social situations and ability to form relationships are also developing, although challenges remain in responding to more complex and implicit social problems, such as peer pressure or hidden social conflicts. The highest achievement was found in indicators related to empathy and cooperation, while lower performance appeared in analyzing social issues and showing moral courage. Therefore, IPAS learning is expected to be developed further in contextual and reflective ways to enhance students' overall social awareness. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating social values into early education so that students grow not only cognitively but also socially and emotionally.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the problems faced by teachers in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research results show that in the independent curriculum planning process, what teachers do is to prepare learning such as teaching modules and learning media related to the material to be taught and the principal also conducts training in schools to provide insight into the implementation of the independent curriculum. In its implementation, elementary school 01 Pulau Beringin teachers apply learning by using various methods such as using video-based learning media, photos displayed with infocus in implementing an independent curriculum. However, some teachers have difficulty understanding the concepts and techniques of implementing independent curricula, especially for senior teachers who experience limitations in compiling learning plans such as ATP and teaching modules, there are obstacles in carrying out project-based learning, low skills of senior teachers in using technology, and difficulties for teachers to change learning methods. The evaluation stage of the method used by the teacher is to use an assessment to see the student's learning achievements, both daily repetitions, mid-semester tests, and end-of-semester assessments. In overcoming the problems that occur, every homeroom teacher has a companion teacher who can help implement an independent curriculum to help the homeroom teacher in learning in the classroom.
