Abstract

This research aims to design an expert system to diagnose diseases in chickens. This system is designed to assist farmers in identifying diseases in chickens accurately and quickly. This expert system was built using the Certainty Factor method. Chicken disease data is collected from trusted sources, and rules are made to support the diagnostic process. This application is used to assist users in identifying chicken diseases based on the symptoms they input. This expert system is tested to see its ability to provide accurate and useful diagnosis for users. Therefore, this expert system of chicken disease diagnosis can be a useful solution in the field of animal husbandry.

Abstract

Every entrepreneur will certainly follow technological developments in the business world. MsGlow is one of theskincare businesses. The skincare business is one of the businesses that must compete with rapid and complexchanges, and this very competitive makes business people have to think of strategies for business continuity in order to compete and also survive. One way that can be done is to utilize existing sales data. The importance of fast andprecise operational data processing, information system facilities can be an alternative to solving problems in dataprocessing, minimizing errors and accelerating the data processing process. As the number of sales transactionsincreases, there will be a buildup of data that has not been processed optimally. With the above problems, aforecasting system was created that can forecast skincare sales turnover using the Support Vector Machine (SVM)method. In this study, turnover in several areas will be forecasted. The kernel function variations used in SupportVector Machine (SVM) are RBF, Linear, and, Polynomial Degree 2. The results obtained from this research trialshow that the overall forecasting model is good. The accuracy of the three areas obtained with the RBF kernel has arelatively good MAPE. In the accuracy test to predict skincare sales turnover, the three areas got a fairly goodaccuracy value of 94.46%. In the Sidoarjo area, it is predicted that there will be a lot of decrease in turnover in 2023-2024.

Abstract

Batteries that can store electrical energy and are easy to carry make them the most practical technology choice as an electricity source. Even so, lithium-ion batteries are not free from the risk of damage when used. Therefore, a Lithium-ion battery health monitoring system was created. This system uses the INA219 sensor as a current and voltage detector and the DS18B20 sensor as a temperature detector. Arduino as a data process. The test results show that all components function well. In battery capacity testing, the highest error was 1.8%. For the DS18B20 sensor as a temperature sensor, an error of 2.4% was obtained. Testing capacity against temperature on the battery when the temperature was 25 C, the current was 485mAh; when the temperature was 44.8 C, the current was 550mAh, there was a difference of 65mAh or 11%. This difference corresponds to the difference in battery capacity. Testing using the Fuzzy Logic method was carried out on 3 batteries with different capacities to obtain the State of Health (SOH) value for each battery. Testing is carried out in real-time, as well as Matlab simulation. In battery test 1, with a capacity of 2200mAh and the highest temperature of 32.1 oC, the device's State of Health (SoH) was 90%, and Fuzzy Matlab was 87.6%. Battery 2, 1500mAh capacity with the highest temperature of 33.4oC obtained State of Health (SOH) of 60%, Fuzzy Matlab 60%. Battery 3 Capacity 2200mAh, Highest temperature 32.2 oC, State of Health (SOH) of 90%, Fuzzy Matlab 87.6%. The test results show that the overall error is still below 5%. A properly functioning Internet of Things (IoT) system can display information on lithium-ion batteries' State of Health (SoH) on devices and smartphones.

Abstract

Electronic devices similar to calculator, both physical and application, are equipped with a feature to calculate the remainder (read: modulo) of two independent numbers. The problem is that there is a limited size of the display screen and memory to accommodate data on the device so that the number of digits to be processed is very limited. This research offers a solution in the form of using a Finite State Automata (FSA) chart to carry out the process ofcalculating the remainder of two independent numbers A and B with an unlimited number of digits, where A is the numerator and B is the denominator, written in the format A mod B. Second A and B values must be integers. The value of numerator must be greater than the denominator so that the process of calculating the remainder can be carried out, because if the value of the numerator is the same as the denominator then the remainder is 0 (zero), whereas if the value of the numerator is less than the denominator then the remainder is the same as the numerator itself. The remainder of the quotient is a number between 0..(B-1). The use of FSA chart in this research will ensure that the calculation process will take place in stages for each digit of the numerator being processed. This method also allows the process to be stopped at any time to see the remainder of the results from the starting digit to the digit at the stopping point. From the experiments that have been carried out, we obtained perfect accuracy results from the FSA chart when used to calculate the remainder for any value A and B even though the number of A digits is very large. Thus, this research can be an alternative method for calculating the remainder of two independent numbers.

Abstract

Kampung Kue Rungkut Lor, located in Kali Rungkut Village, Surabaya, is a center for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that produce a variety of traditional East Javanese cakes. Despite its great economic potential, most businesses in this village face challenges in terms of management, financial management, and the use of digital technology for product marketing. The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by students from Bhayangkara University Surabaya aims to provide practical training in business management, basic financial literacy, and the application of digital marketing to enhance the brand identity and market reach of Kampung Kue's SMEs. This program involves various training sessions such as “Buku Kecil Cuan” (Small Book of Profit) for financial literacy and “Foto Cuan & Storytelling Visual” (Profit Photos & Visual Storytelling) to improve branding and digital content creation skills. In addition, digital marketing assistance focused on optimizing the use of marketplaces and social media aims to increase sales turnover. Evaluation was carried out by measuring the increase in participants' knowledge through pre-tests and post-tests as well as measuring turnover results before and after program implementation. The results of the activity show an increase in the community's understanding of financial management and digital marketing, which has led to an increase in MSME sales turnover. This program is expected to become a model that can be replicated in other villages with similar potential.
