Abstract

Changes in the company are a must in the face of increasingly fierce global competition. This change is initiated by individuals within the company, namely the employees. With this, the organization contributes to encouraging employees to be ready to make changes. This study aimed to determine the effect of organizational support on employee readiness to change. The study involved participants consisting of 155 employees who are actively working in both private and public companies in the Greater Jakarta area. This research was conducted using a non-probability sampling technique with data withdrawal, purposive sampling and a quantitative survey research approach. The results showed that the perception of organizational support significantly affects the readiness of employees to change by 24.8%, which means that the perception of organizational support positively affects the agility of employees to change. This study also proves that the higher the perceived organizational support of employees in Jabodetabek, the higher the employee's readiness to change.KEY WORDS: perceived organization support; employee; readiness to changeABSTRAKPerubahan dalam perusahaan merupakan suatu keharusan dalam menghadapi persaingan global yang semakin ketat. Perubahan ini diawali oleh individu-individu di dalam perusahaan, yaitu karyawan. Dengan adanya hal tersebut, organisasi turut andil dalam mendorong karyawan untuk siap melakukan perubahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah. Penelitian ini melibatkan partisipan yang terdiri dari 155 karyawan yang aktif bekerja di perusahaan swasta maupun negeri di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan penarikan sampel purposive sampling dan pendekatan penelitian survei kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah sebesar 24,8%, yang berarti persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kelincahan karyawan untuk berubah. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi dukungan organisasi yang dimiliki karyawan di Jabodetabek, maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah.KATA KUNCI persepsi dukungan organisasi; karyawan; kesiapan berubah Copyright ©2023. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) program provides an opportunity for students to experience the atmosphere of studying at other campuses and living life amid cultures and customs that are different from their places of origin. Nonetheless, the necessity to go far away from home and those closest to them, as well as the possibility of various new challenges has the potential to create feelings of homesickness in students. This study aims to obtain an overview of the homesickness experienced by the five informants who had undergone the PMM program in Aceh last batch and their coping efforts to overcome this. The research was conducted qualitatively with a phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews with informants. The study results show that homesickness is felt in the form of longing for home, parents, and habits usually carried out at home. The coping efforts carried out are in the form of actions that are oriented towards emotionalfocused coping such as taking a walk, buying snacks, or expressing the emotions you feel. As well as, efforts that focus on problem-focused coping such as contacting family and cooking their own food.ABSTRAKAdanya program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) memberikan kesempatan bagi para mahasiswa untuk merasakan suasana belajar di kampus lain serta menjalani hidup di tengah-tengah kebudayaan dan kebiasaan yang berbeda dengan tempat asal. Meskipun demikian, keharusan untuk pergi jauh meninggalkan rumah dan orang-orang terdekat, serta kemungkinan munculnya berbagai tantangan baru berpotensi menimbulkan perasaan rindu rumah (homesickness) pada diri mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran homesickness yang dialami oleh kelima orang informan yang telah menjalani program PMM di Aceh angkatan lalu, serta upaya coping yang mereka lakukan guna mengatasi hal tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap para informan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa homesickness yang dirasakan berupa rasa rindu akan rumah, orang tua, dan kebiasaan yang biasanya dilakukan di rumah. Adapun upaya coping yang dilakukan berupa tindakan yang berorientasi pada emotional-focused coping seperti berjalan-jalan, membeli camilan, atau meluapkan emosi yang dirasakan. Serta, upaya yang berfokus pada problem-focused coping seperti menghubungi keluarga dan memasak makanan sendiri

Abstract

Counterproductive work behavior is a common phenomenon that is a problem in human resources, employee behavior itself is a topic that is interested in research because behavior itself can influence the success of an organization in achieving predetermined goals This research aims to determine the Influence of emotional intelligence and organizational justice towards counterproductive work behavior. This is a quantitative research type. The research subjects involved account officer employees. The research data sources were from primary data and secondary data. Primary data was observed using a questionnaire (Google form), while secondary data was from employee data, books, and scientific journals. The research results reveal that a significant influence between emotional intelligence and organizational justice on counter-productive work behavior was found, seen from R square, namely 0.543 or 54.3% and the rest was influenced by other variables.
