Abstract

Based on the results of pre-cycle observations, it is known that the learning activity of students in class XI MIA 2 SMAN 10 Palembang is still in the low category. So we need a strategy to increase the active learning. This research was conducted as an action to increase the active learning of students using the PBL model with a differentiation strategy. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of 3 stages, namely action planning, action implementation and reflection. Research data was collected by means of observation by 5 observers of 30 students. Then the data were analyzed by comparing the results of observations in pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. From the observation results it is known that there is an increase in student learning activity from 51.36% (pre-cycle), increasing to 58.75% (average cycle 1) and then increasing to 77.5% (average cycle 2), so it can be concluded that the PBL model with a differentiation strategy can increase the activeness of students. This research can be used as a reference for educators in increasing the activity of students in class.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the problem of low learning activeness in students. This research is focused on making students in class XI MIA 5 at SMAN 10 Palembang become more active in the learning process. In an effort to carry out this research, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach was used and the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study involved 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings involving 30 research subjects. Data collection in this study was an observation sheet of students' active learning which was validated using CVI. In the results obtained, it is known that there is an increase in student activity on an ongoing basis in each cycle which in cycle 1 meeting 1 was 58% to 66% at meeting 2, then in the second stage of the cycle, there was an increase from 70% to 80% at the second meeting. Based on these data it can be seen that in cycle II, the research was said to be successful by obtaining very good information. From the results of the research, it is said that applying the PBL model accompanied by video media is able to increase the activity of students in class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of use Stylus Pen with Microsoft Onenote on student learning outcomes on the subject matter of the reproductive system. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 30 students from class XI MIA 1 SMAN 10 Palembang. This research process consists of two cycles, namely Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Implementation of the action using the learning model Discovery Learning. In the pre-cycle stage, it can be seen that the average completeness value is 47.8, which is still below the minimum completeness, which is 72.00, so it is important to make improvements. In cycle I, the average score of completeness touched 85 and experienced an increase in mastery to 92.3 in cycle II, which met the minimum score of completeness. Based on the results of this study it can be seen that the use Stylus Pen with application Microsoft Onenote can improve student learning outcomes in the material of the reproductive system. The results of this study can be used as reference material for teachers and prospective educators to identify appropriate learning media to improve learning outcomes.
