Abstract

Catechists are all Christ’s faithful, both clergy and laity, who are called and sent by God to be a preacher of the Word of God. In other words, the profession life of a catechist is to teach, preach the Word of God. Church limit that called catechists are lay people, both men and women, who were given a course of religion or those who follow the Catholic Religion Education. In the midst of the laity itself, a catechist is an integral part with the other lay. Proclamation in the governance of the world carried out jointly. In special tasks, this is where catechist becomes the herald of the Church. Just like the Saints who proclaim the life of Jesus Christ in their lives, catechist also proclaims the life of Jesus Christ in his life. That means that the proclamation of catechists not only by speaking words, but also through all aspects of life. This catechist not only heralds the catechism, but he himself is the catechism.

Abstract

Today, the presence of Information and Communication Technology has changed the pattern of social and interpersonal communication excites the faithful. At the same time, social communication technology has been used to move the joints of life, as well as a variety of works and other businesses. At present, the Church is undergoing various benefits of the Information Technology and Social Communication, among others: Proclaiming the Gospel is increasingly widespread, more intensive communication despite people separated by distance and the solidarity movement is increasingly assuming a place in the hearts of the people. Social Information and Communication Technology has brought the Church through the media, both print media, such as newspapers, magazines and tabloids, as well as electronic media such as radio, TV, Smartphone, Computer, Internet with a variety of its application. Thus, the Church can be known and heard by the public voice. Communication whatsoever and howsoever various forms has opened a wider horizon for many people. Communication is a gift from God that must be accountable to God and others. Man with the Media of Social Communications can glorify God and uphold human dignity, but it also can be distanced from God and injure human dignity. Like a double-edged knife with positive and negative impacts as well. Media Communication with rapid information technology should be utilized as an opportunity and not a threat to the progress of the Church and society. Media communication should bring closeness and human encounters that resulted in the betterment of life and human well-being

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi orang tua dan motivasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswadi SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitiankuantitatif, dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan dan diisi oleh130 responden (siswa) yang ada di SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda 2 prediktor, dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi orang tua secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang (0,082 > 0,05). Dengan demikian hipotesis (Ha1) yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh komunikasi orangtua secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar ditolak. Hasil analisis motivasi guru secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar (0,213 >0,05). Dengan demikian, hipotesis (Ha2) yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh motivasi guru secara parsial prestasi belajar siswa di SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang jugaditolak. Sementara itu, pengaruh secara simultan (Ha3) kedua variabel independen (komunikasi orangtua dan motivasi guru) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang juga terbukti tidak signifikan (sig. F = .200b> 0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua variabel independen tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen, demikian pula pengaruh keduanya secara simultan. Akan tetapi, ditinjau dari nilai R sebesar 158a, meskipun terkategori rendah, namun berarti ada korelasi antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependennya. Korelasi tersebut positif, artinya semakin tinggi komunikasi orang tua dan motivasi guru, maka akan semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar siswa SDK Mardi Wiyata 2 Malang. Selanjutnya, ditinjau dari koefisien deteminan sebesar 0,025 dapat dimaknai bahwa pengaruh kedua variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebenar 2,5% dan sisanya (97,5%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep Koinonia (persekutuan) dan Martyria (kesaksian) dalam konteks gereja sebagai peziarah dan misioner. Koinonia mencakup hubungan erat antara anggota gereja, yang membantu memperkuat komunitas Kristen dan membangun kesatuan dalam tubuh Kristus. Di sisi lain, Martyria melibatkan pemberitaan Injil, kehidupan saksi yang konsisten, pelayanan aktif, dan dialog antaragama sebagai bagian dari misi gereja di dunia. Artikel ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh gereja dalam menjalankan Koinonia dan Martyria, seperti konflik dan pembatasan hukum. Namun, dengan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep ini, gereja dapat mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan memperkuat persekutuan serta meningkatkan kesaksian mereka di dunia.

Abstract

Indonesia's plurality is a priceless gift. Unfortunately, in terms of religion, conflict has colored the history of this nation. This study aims to analyze the effect of Emotional Intelligence on Religious Moderation among students in Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral (STP) – IPI Malang. With probability sampling technique, 175 samples were obtained. This research uses a quantitative approach, and data collection using a questionnaire. The research findings show, the correlation coefficient between the criterion variable and the predictor is proven to be very strong (r = 0.980), and the coefficient of determination of 0.960 shows that the predictor variables simultaneously affect the criterion variable (Religious Moderation) by 96%, the rest (4%) is influenced by other variables outside this study. In terms of causality, the predictor variables simultaneously affect the Religious Moderation variable, with a value of F = 0.000 < α (α = 0.05). While, partially the variables of perceiving emotions, using emotions to facilitate thought, understanding emotions, and managing emotions are also proven to have a significant effect on Religious Moderation (t-statistics value of perceiving emotions by 19.230 > 1.96; using emotions to facilitate thought by 3.526 > 1.96; understanding emotions by 6.163 > 1.96; and managing emotions by 2.126 > 1.96). The variable perceiving emotions contributes the most, and the variable managing emotions contributes the least. It can be concluded, both simultaneously and partially, all predictor variables have a significant effect on Religious Moderation.
