Abstract

The role of IS/IT within an enterprise can be considered as a strategic component. It is so strategic, so companies often expend significant investments to gain the business benefits of IS/IT. Large investments have not necessarily produce the same benefits. It happened at the Ministry of XYZ, where they built a DRC (Disaster Recovery Center) to help the system SISKOHAT (Haji Integrated Information System). Required an analysis of the business benefits that can be obtained from the development of this system. Based on the analysis, obtained two categories of the business benefits of IS / IT, ie: Decrease / Suppress Costs (RCO) and Reducing Risk (RRI). The second category of these business benefits, obtained three sub-categories of the business benefits of IS / IT, ie: Failure Cost Service (RCO-05), Doubtful (RRI-02), and Data Loss (RRI-05).

Abstract

Social media has become a technology massively used by Internet users. The initial purpose of use that is only for personal needs has evolved toward business. This is especially true of marketing channels in a business. This study aims to know how the use of social media can affect customer retention in social media, especially in Facebook Hydro Coco. It is expected that this study can provide recommendations to social media Facebook Hydro Coco to improve the performance of customer retention relationships. This research uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection was obtained from 184 users of social media users Facebook Fanpage Hydro Coco by providing questionnaires to research subjects focused on adolescents with an age range of 18-24 years. Data analysis technique used in this research is using SEM technique (Structural Equation Modeling) in this case is PLS-SEM. The results of this study showed that there are two factors that affects the social media Hydro Coco Behavioral Intention and Customer Satisfaction. This proves that customers feel satisfaction and have the intention to use the product while using social media Facebook Fanpage Hydro Coco.

Abstract

Pengembangan software sejatinya berbeda dengan membuat software, karena ada beberapa kaidah yang harus diikuti untuk menghasilkan solusi berkualitas tinggi. CMMI mencoba membantu para developer untuk mencapai hal ini. Pada framework ini, terdapat proses-proses yang harus dipenuhi agar kualitas solusi yang dihasilkan menjadi tinggi. Untuk mencapai ini, proses dokumentasi sangat diperlukan. Hal ini agak berbeda dengan metodologi Agile Development, dimana ia menitik beratkan pada bagaimana sebuah aplikasi dibuat sedini mungkin,menghasilkan purwarupa (prototype) tanpa harus membuat dokumen pada tiap prosesnya.Tulisan ini berusaha membahas sebuah pendekatan CMMI staged dimana ia digunakan ke dalam salah satu metodologi Agile Development, yaitu Scrum. Permasalahan yang terjadi ketika mengkombinasikan keduanya adalah adanya kesalahan dalam penggunaan, kurangnya informasiyang akurat, dan kesulitan terminologi. Solusi terhadap permasalahan ini dapat dipecahkan melalui tabel mapping dari proses-proses CMMI ke aktivitas Scrum.

Abstract

The use of the Internet has penetrated all aspects of life. One of them in the academic world, is used as a solution to share knowledge and collaborate. The use of cloud computing is one example that allows the academic community to do so. Based on the initial interview, cloud computing technology is only used as a document storage media. Therefore this study aims to examine the factors that influence the use of this technology. The research conducted is quantitative and uses purposive random sampling technique. The questionnaire was distributed in the form of paper and Google Form to S1 students majoring in information systems in South Jakarta and obtained as many as 297 respondents. Data processing was done using PLS-SEM, the result of which was that most hypotheses were accepted with the greatest influence on attittude constructs to continued use intention. But in the moderation effect test, all hypotheses are rejected. This means that the use of technology in students is influenced by their attitude. However, it makes no difference for men and women. The same is true for experienced or not students.

Abstract

Technology, especially the Internet, has become a part of everyday human life, where the solution is developing cloud computing. It provides virtual resources so that they can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The use of this service is growing not only for personal purposes, but also for academic purposes, such as for exchanging information and collaborating. Its use has become part of the teaching and learning process, but its effect on academic performance is not yet clearly known. For this reason, this study was conducted to determine academic performance which is influenced by the adoption of cloud computing technology among students. The research was conducted on students at STIMIK ESQ. The research is quantitative and uses online questionnaires to obtain data. The number of samples obtained was 151 consisting of various study programs. Based on the analysis conducted using SEM-PLS, it was found that almost all hypotheses were accepted. From this analysis, it is also found that the strongest influence is on the construct of Attitude to Continued Use Intentions. This shows that the desire for sustainable use of cloud computing is influenced by students' attitudes towards this technology.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah berlalu di Indonesia, namun dampaknya masih terasa hingga saat ini, terutama berkaitan dengan pembelajaran. Saat itu Pemerintah Republik Indonesia menetapkan Pendidikan Jarak Jauh (PJJ) yang kemudian diikuti oleh semua institusi pendidikan formal, termasuk Dinas Pendidikan kota Palu. Peralihan yang mendadak dan tanpa persiapan matang tentu saja menimbulkan permalahan tersendiri. Peneliti melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa narasumber dan menemukan permasalahan kurangnya persiapan sekolah dalam menyiapkan fasilitas teknologi pendukung salah satunya adalah sistem e-learning. Para guru berinisiatif untuk beralih memanfaatkan teknologi yang sudah ada sebagai pengganti dari sistem e-learning salah satunya adalah aplikasi WhatsApp. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model DeLone & McLean untuk mengukur keberhasilan pada penggunaan sistem informasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh masing-masing variabel yang digunakan dalam model penelitian yaitu kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kepuasan pengguna, penggunaan teknologi, dan net benefit. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sampel sebanyak 398 responden siswa SMA 4 kota Palu melalui kuesioner, lalu menggunakan SmartPLS untuk mengolah dan menganalisis kuesioner yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua hubungan variabel pada penelitian ini memiliki pengaruh yang positif. Artinya apabila kualitas sistem dan kualitas informasi yang dimiliki WhatsApp baik, maka semakin tinggi pula penggunaan teknologi dan kepuasan pengguna, sehingga berpengaruh pada kenaikan net benefit atau manfaat yang dirasakan pengguna.

Abstract

This meticulous and comprehensive study aims to provide a thorough overview of the validation results of the ten System Usability Scale (SUS) indicators from the perspectives of experts and ordinary users. The study meticulously compares the validation results of SUS scores in expert and ordinary user groups. The validation results of SUS scores in the expert group are derived from a comprehensive analysis of SUS evaluation results, heuristic evaluation, and interviews with three usability experts. Similarly, the validation results of SUS scores in the ordinary user group are obtained from a rigorous comparison of SUS evaluation results, remote moderated usability testing, and interviews with five ordinary users. While inconclusive, this study's findings shed light on four crucial points. First, there are no universally valid validation results of SUS scores in all SUS indicators from expert and ordinary user perspectives. Second, the ease of use indicator is the only one with a complete and valid evaluation result from the expert perspective. Third, the intuitiveness indicator, while full, yields invalid evaluation results from the standpoint of ordinary users. Fourth, a weak relationship is observed between SUS scores and the results of heuristic evaluation and usability testing. These findings, derived from a robust and meticulous methodology, are expected to significantly contribute to the existing research in application usability, particularly in the context of SUS usage.
