Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship of Aksi Kamisan and human security. It narrates the phenomenon of women participating in Aksi Kamisan who lament silently before the Presidential office. It explores the essential contribution of these women parading in front of the government offices in promoting human security. Women participants of Aksi Kamisan choose lamentation as a persuasive language to deliver messages on the importance of human security. Analyzing their letters sent to the present President and listening to their oral testimonies, I systematize their previously implicit understanding of human security. In the process I expose the underlying theology of the so-called ‘god of security’ by regimes after the reformation era. Finally I reflect on the theme from the historical-feminist-theological perspectives finding deeper meaning in the pursuit of truth and healing in the face of human suffering.

Abstract

This paper investigates poetries written by children victims of Lapindo narrating their suffering in speaking against the corporation and government’s indifferent. Those poetries exemplify and amplify the meaning of sisterhood among human being, ecology and its surrounding ecosystem in the tragic way. The children expose greediness as part of contemporary sin in connection to economic dimension. The aggression against women is similar with the aggression against the nature. This paper concludes that intellectus fidei will transform the practice of intellectus liberationem.

Abstract

This paper discusses the irruption of the digital faithful generation of Z in the Indonesian Catholic church and its disruption to citizenship catechesis. The discussion of citizenship catechesis will fall short if we still fixate on the classic definitions of catechesis, the method of catechesis, and the profile of catechists in the apostolic exhortation Cateceshi Tradendae (1979). The predigital world conditions ideas about them. An in-depth discourse on citizenship catechesis needs to depart from the digital faithful generation of Z irrupting in the Indonesian Catholic Church. 'Irruption', according to the liberation theologian Gustavo Gutiérrez, refers to the presence of people who previously lived at the underside of history. Previously being absented, they transform into the subject of history. Irruption is also an ecclesial process. The generation of Z has emerged in the history of the Indonesian Catholic church as homo religiosus digitalis. They bring the disruptive spirit of the digital era to the body of the Catholic church. As digital integrators, they are open to incorporating faith in their lives. Based on their autobiography, homo religiosus digitalis Z lives a connective pedagogy with distinctive characteristics from predigital believers. Their irruption shakes the identity of the catechist and their vocation to "teach the lesson of the faith" to today's disciples of Christ. The irruption of Z's digital faithful generation encourages the further exploration of new methods for citizenship catechesis in the contemporary Indonesian context. Abstrak Tulisan ini mendiskusikan irupsi generasi beriman Z dalam Gereja Katolik Indonesia yang disruptif terhadap katekese kebangsaan. Diskusi tentang katekese kebangsaan tak akan beranjak jauh jika kita masih terpaku pada definisi klasik katekese, metode berkatekese, dan profill katekis dalam seruan apostolik Cateceshi Tradendae (1979). Seruan apostolik ini dikondisikan oleh dunia pradigital. Diskursus mendalam tentang katekese kebangsaan perlu berangkat dari irupsi generasi Z. Istilah "irupsi", menurut teolog pembebasan G. Gutiérrez, menunjuk pada penyeruakan orang-orang yang sebelumnya hidup di sisi bawah sejarah. Mereka bertransformasi dari yang semula diabsenkan keberadaannya, kini menjadi subjek sejarah. Irupsi juga merupakan proses eklesial. Generasi Z menyeruak dalam panggung sejarah gereja Katolik Indonesia sebagai homo religiosus digital. Mereka membawa roh disruptif era digital. Meminjam kosakata Mark McCrindle tentang generasi Z sebagai “digital integrator”, insan digital Z terbuka untuk menginkorporasikan iman dalam kehidupan mereka. Berdasarkan autobiografi mereka, homo religiosus digital Z menghidupi pedagogi konektif yang karakteristiknya berbeda dari insan beriman pradigital. Irupsi mereka menggegarkan identitas katekis serta panggilannya untuk “mengajarkan pelajaran iman” kepada murid-murid Kristus pada masa kini.Irupsi insan beriman digital Z mendorong eksplorasi metode-metode baru untuk katekese kebangsaan dalam konteks Indonesia zaman now.

Abstract

The dissociation of Dewi Ontrowulan from the pilgrimage site of Mount Kemukus and the participation of women in the sex ritual excite me to explore her myths. Surveying the various myths about Dewi Ontrowulan, this paper seeks to sketch the possibly dominant characterization of her. Besides her absence in providing blessings to pilgrims, her presence at the pilgrimage ritual greatly contributes to the brokenness of women’s bodies there. I apply feminist phenomenology to unveil the hiddenness of crimes against women. Reconstructing a liberating myth of Dewi Ontrowulan necessitates the de-stigmatization of her stigmatized character. A feminist re-reading on her myths hopefully also contributes to the liberation of these women from stigmatization.

Abstract

The foundation of this study is the problem of social and spiritual orphanhood that transwomen in Yogyakarta's Seruni Community encounter as a result of social and spiritual exclusion.  It is vital and urgent to contemplate interfaith pastoral counseling for the psychological and spiritual well-being of transwomen. The purpose of this qualitative study is to determine (1) how the transwoman community manages psychological and spiritual crises brought on by social and spiritual exclusion before getting interfaith pastoral counseling? (2) how does interfaith pastoral counseling contribute significantly to the psychological and spiritual well-being of transwomen? Transwomen going through spiritual and psychological orphanhood in Yogyakarta's Seruni Community served as the research subjects for this qualitative study. The study's findings indicate that (1) the transwoman community is marginalized in terms of both social and spiritual circles. Trans women pursue psychological and spiritual well-being through the communities they build before obtaining interfaith pastoral treatment. (2) Faith communities are contemplating interfaith pastoral counseling as a pastoral response to transwomen who are experiencing both psychological and spiritual orphanhood. Transwomen's psychological and spiritual well-being can be greatly enhanced by interfaith pastoral counseling, allowing them to fully flourish as persons and transform as believers.

Abstract

Chaste women who follow religious vows face new difficulties in the digital age. How does Pope Francis rethink the theology of the body in light of interactions with modern realities and technological advancements? This study presents Pope Francis's groundbreaking view of contemporary theology of the body. The comprehensive examination of papers released by Pope Francis reveals the progressive and all-encompassing perspective of the Pope about spirituality, technology, and sexuality. The study's findings demonstrate that, in addition to acknowledging the challenges presented by the digital age, Pope Francis also proposes creative ways to reconcile theological knowledge with technological advancements. He emphasizes the value of a well-rounded education that includes sexual, psychological, and spiritual facets. The Pope also stresses the importance of having frank conversations about sexuality and using digital media responsibly. Pope Francis's contribution to the process of sexuality formation is this renewal, which seeks to assist religious women live out their vocations faithfully in the digital age by forming a healthy and balanced awareness of the body and sexuality.AbstrakEra digital membawa tantangan baru bagi religius perempuan yang menghayati kaul kemurnian. Berdasarkan perjumpaan dengan realitas kontemporer dan kemajuan teknologi, bagaimana Paus Fransiskus membaharui pandangan tentang teologi tubuh? Penelitan ini mengungkapkan perspektif revolusioner Paus Fransiskus tentang teologi tubuh di zaman modern. Melalui analisis mendalam terhadap dokumen – dokumen yang dikeluarkan oleh Paus Fransiskus, mengungkapkan pendekatan holistik dan progresif Paus terhadap seksualitas, spiritualitas dan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Paus Fransiskus tidak hanya mengakui kompleksitas era digital, melainkan juga menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mengintegrasikan pemahaman teologis dengan realitas digital. Beliau menyoroti pentingnya formasi yang holistik, mencakup aspek spiritual, psikologis, dan seksual. Paus Fransiskus juga menekankan perlunya dialog terbuka tentang seksualitas hingga penggunaan secara bijak media digital. Pembaharuan ini menjadi kontribusi Paus Fransiskus terhadap proses formatio seksualitas, yang bertujuan untuk membentuk pemahaman yang sehat dan terintegrasi tentang tubuh dan seksualitas dikalangan religius perempuan dan membantu mereka menghayati kesetiaan panggilan mereka pada era digital.

Abstract

This research paper proposes a multisensory catechesis as a catechetical breakthrough for digital believer today. Multisensory catechesis is indebted to digital learner autobiographies that encourage the autobiographical exploration of the Church in catechesis. Fulfilling her call as a catechist of the gospel, the Church activates hearing, sighting and touching sensories to communicate the joy of the gospel. The activation of the multisensory of the faithful generation of now refreshes the dialogue between the Gospel and culture in the digital era. This article "reviews with courage and wisdom, as well as in full loyalty to the content of evangelization, the most suitable and effective efforts to deliver the message of the gospel to people today (Evangelii Nuntiandi No. 40). This field research involved 75 Sanata Dharma Faculty of Science and Technology students to alphabetize autobiography as digital learners. This research measures the level of incorporation of digital technology in their lives as learners.

Abstract

The spiritual needs of patients who are ill often receive insuffi-cient attention.  Pastoral accompaniment for the sick is a meet-ing space based on compassion that provides holistic support to those in need. A loving encounter brings forth a new life that offers comfort and peace. What strategies does Panti Rapih Hospital in Yogyakarta use to apply compassion to the sick? This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method that involves in-depth interviews with pastoral care staff and the families of patients as informants and validators. This re-search took place at Panti Rapih Hospital in Yogyakarta. Pas-toral accompaniment based on compassion plays an im-portant role in providing spiritual and emotional support for those who are ill. Pastoral accompaniment carried out with full compassion and empathy has a positive impact on the spiritual well-being of the sick. Compassion-based mentoring helps to find the meaning of life. This finding shows a positive correlation between compassionate pastoral care and an im-provement in people's quality of life.AbstrakKebutuhan spiritual pasien yang sakit seringkali kurang mendapat perhatian. Pendampingan pastoral  orang sakit berbasis dengan belaskasih  merupakan sesuatu yang  penting dalam memberikan dukungan pada mereka yang sakit. Perjumpaan  yang dilandasi belas kasih   mereupakan perjumpaan iman dalam memberikan dukungan spritual  dengan  rasa  damai dan pengharapan. Strategi  apa yang digunakan oleh Rumah sakit Panti Rapih Yogyakarta dalam  menerapkan belas kasih pada orang sakit? Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode penelitian kualitatif analisis  deskriktif  yang  melibatkan wawancara mendalam  bersama petugas pastoral care dan keluarga pasien  sebagai informan dan validator. Penelitian ini berlangsung di Rumah Sakit Panti Rapih Yogyakarta. Pendampingan pastoral berlandaskan  belas kasih memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan dukungan spritual dan emosional bagi mereka yang sakit. Pendampingan pastoral dengan landasan belas kasih diharapkan mampu memberikan dukungan   kesejahteraan spiritual orang sakit, sehingga merasakan kehadiran Tuhan dalam proses penyembuhan dan mereka mampu menerima penderitaan mereka.  Pendampingan yang  berlandaskan  belaskasih membantu untuk memiliki harapan serta menguatkan iman  mereka. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan belas kasih  pastoral  sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraaa mereka secara holistik.
