Abstract

Efforts to reduce poverty must have an impact that can reach the various problems caused by poverty. This research aims to analyze social policies related to poverty alleviation and cross-sectoral participation in overcoming stunting problems that occur in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative-exploratory research method to examine the Government's Social Policy in overcoming poverty and its impact on stunting which involves cross-sector participation in its implementation. Then the data is collected from interviews, field observations, and applicable literature, then to analyze the results using Nvivo 12 Pro. The location of this research uses a regional case study in Indonesia, namely the Bantaeng Regency area. The results of this study show that the contribution of government social policies in overcoming poverty has a very positive impact on reducing the number of stunting that occurs in Bantaeng Regency. Several programs issued by the government focus on increasing consumption and fulfilling community nutrition by assisting with food. Then cross-sectoral participation in handling stunting in Bantaeng Regency has also been going well, because it not only involves the local government but also involves the military. However, this study found that there was a lack of involvement of the private sector in efforts to help the government deal with the problem of stunting. So that this is a weakness in handling stunting, therefore in handling stunting based on government programs there needs to be a binding regulation to involve the private sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the implementation of the Regional Regulation Policy on Parking Management in the Braga area of Bandung city. This research is based on the fact that there are often parking arrangements that interfere with traffic flow so the functions and responsibilities of the government to overcome parking problems are questioned. The type of research in this study is descriptive qualitative, while the data is collected from interviews, observation, and documentation. The data was then analysed using the Nvivo 12 Plus application. The results showed that the implementation of public parking management policies in the braga area of Bandung City has not been fully implemented because there are still violations committed by parking officers in the field. In serving the public in and out of vehicles in the parking lot has not been implemented properly, and many people do not fully understand the parking machine because the parking limit that should be used is sometimes there and sometimes not. Arranging parked vehicles so as not to interfere with traffic flow, is still not implemented because officers in the field are still parking officers who arrange vehicles on the edge of public roads exceeding one shap / one shap, the parked community is well implemented. The use of evidence (carcis) that has been corporatized by the Department of Transportation, Financial Management and Assets parking officers in using evidence (carcis) has not been implemented optimally because there are still parking officers who are dishonest and lack of socialising the e-parking policy to the community which results in a decrease in parking fees and illegal parking which makes illegal parking more and more.

Abstract

This study analyses the role and impact of public-private partnerships to improve food security in coastal areas of Indonesia. The public-private partnership model as a tool to address poverty, food needs and stunting is examined using a qualitative exploratory technique. Additional information was gathered by the researchers via interviews, field observations and documents. The study was carried out in Indonesia’s Coastal Takalar Regency, and NVivo 12 Pro was used to visualise the data. The results showed that the parties involved in efforts to improve food security on the Takalar Regency Coast include the Food Social Service and Village Community Empowerment of Takalar Regency, Subdistrict Social Welfare Workers, village government, Mandiri Bank, food suppliers and E-Warong (noncash government assistance) agents. Findings further showed that the benefits arising from this collaboration can reduce social inequalities such as decreasing poverty, increasing food needs and reducing stunting cases in the coastal areas of Takalar Regency. This work revealed several obstacles to cooperation between the government and the private sector to improve food security through food aid programmes, namely corruption through diversion of aid funds and a lack of supervision.
