Abstract

Knowledge of garbage problem is important for a community. A study has been conducted at Singkup Village of Tasikmalaya, West Java. The objective was to find out the effects of extension strategy, and the motivation of environment healthy care on the knowledge about garbage of the housewives in the village, which has a dumping site. The design was a 2 x 2 factorial with a sample of 60 women, selected at random. The results show that the housewife’s knowledge about garbage was better by cooperative extension strategy than by the tutorial strategy. The high motivation for healthy care of environment was better by cooperative extension strategy; and for the low motivation healthy care, the tutorial extension strategy better than the cooperative way. The interaction was found between extension strategy and the healthy environment care on knowledge about garbage.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika dalam mereduksi miskonsepsi peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes diagnostik, vignette dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama dan instrumen bantu yakni soal tes diagnostik, persoalan dalam vignette dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PCK mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan konten. Pengetahuan pedagogik mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika juga masih perlu ditingkatkan. Terdapat mahasiswa pendidikan fisika yang memiliki PCK dengan keterbatasan baik pengetahuan konten, pengetahuan pedagogik serta kurang dalam menimbang situasi dan kondisi peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat dari kemampuan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika dalam mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi dan penyebab miskonsepsi peserta didik serta cara untuk menanganinya. Kata kunci: PCK; miskonsepsi; mahasiswa. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) students majoring in physics education in reduce student misconceptions on the material of straight motion. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are diagnostic tests, vignettes and interviews. The research instrument used was the researcher himself as the main instrument and the assistive instrument, namely the diagnostic test questions, the problems in the vignette and the interview. The results of the study show that PCK student majoring in physics education have limitation in content knowledge. There are still student majoring in physics education  who have PCK due to limitations in content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and lack of considering the situation and condition of students. This can be see from the ability of student majoring in physics education in identify misconceptions and the causes of student misconceptions and ways to deal with them Keywords: PCK; misconception; student.

Abstract

Abstract: Developing digital learning innovation with the Blended POE2WE model aims (1) to access knowledge without time and space limitation, (2) to establish internet-based communication, (3) to make learning easier and more enjoyable, and (4) to create more interactive and innovative learning process. The method was literacy (library study). Electronic Data Processing was used to manipulate data into more useful information. Data is a raw object, not processed yet and going to be processed. Meanwhile, information is processed data and becomes other useful data. Digital learning is the product of industrial revolution 4.0. It deals with a large collection of computers in networks that are tied together so that many users can share their vast resources. Besides, the Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write and Evaluation (POE2WE) learning model was developed from the POEW learning model and the Physics learning model with a constructivist approach. As a consequence, Blended Learning is used to synthesize face-to-face learning and online-based learning into an integrated mix so that can create a high, efficient, and attractive impact. Blended learning practically means that learning (classroom-based learning) is also facilitated with other electronic formats (e-learning) to create an optimal learning program. This is due to that the use of e-learning is very superior compared to Conventional Learning (face-to-face).Abstrak: Pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran digital dengan model Blended POE2WE bertujuan untuk (1) mengakses pengetahuan setiap saat tak terbatas waktu dan tempat (2) menjalin komunikasi berbasis internet (3) menciptakan pembelajaran lebih mudah dan menyenangkan. (4) menciptakan proses pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan inovati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literasi (studi pustaka). Pengolaan Data Elektronik digunakan untuk memanipulasi data menjadi suatu informasi yang lebih berguna. Data merupakan objek mentah, yang belum diolah dan akan diolah. Sedangkan, informasi adalah data yang telah diolah dan sifatnya menjadi data lain yang bermanfaat. Pembelajaran digital adalah produk revolusi industry 4.0. Pembelajaran digital merupakan ‘a large collection of computers in networks that are tied together so that many users can share their vast resources’. Selain itu, model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write dan Evaluation (POE2WE) dikembangkan dari model pembelajaran POEW dan model pembelajaran Fisika dengan Pendekatan Konstruktivistik. Oleh karena itu, Blended Learning digunakan untuk mensintesis pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran berbasis online menjadi satu campuran yang terintegrasi sehingga dapat menciptakan dampak yang tinggi, efisien, dan menarik. Secara praktis, blended learning berarti bahwa pembelajaran (pembelajaran tatap muka dalam kelas) juga dilengkapi dengan format elektronik lainnya (e-learning) untuk membuat suatu program pembelajaran yang optimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena pemanfaatan E-Learning sangat diunggulkan dibanding dengan Pembelajaran Konvensional secara tatap muka.

Abstract

Learning activities tend to be teacher-centered with conventional learning methods. In addition, the indicators trained are limited to C4 (analyzing) indicators. This has an impact on students' higher order thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of the conceptual understanding procedures learning model on students' higher order thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental research method with a quantitative research approach. The type of research design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were students science class in senior high school with a study population of 205 students. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used was a description test of 7 questions then measured using the t test. The results showed that the Conceptual Comprehension Procedure learning model had a significant effect on students' higher order thinking skills. This research has implications for the student learning process so that it can become an evaluation lesson for teachers to improve the quality of learning, especially with regard to training students' higher order thinking skills.
