Abstract

Instilling the values of nationalism in learning history is very important to be applied in this era of globalization. Instilling the value of nationalism can be an example to form a national character that is in accordance with national identity. Character education is an effort made by the school to shape, direct and guide the behavior of students in accordance with values originating from certain norms to overcome negative impacts in the era of globalization. One of the negative impacts is that the interest of the younger generation in their own culture begins to fade and results in a shift in values in both personal and social life. The influence of historical education on nationalism can have a significant and positive effect on students' historical education on students' nationalism. This means that the attitude of nationalism can be explained and influenced by historical education, learning history provides material on nationalist values so that students are able to understand these values, this shows the large role of historical education in the formation of nationalism among students.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian is essentially about teaching students good and correct Indonesian language skills according to its purpose and function. Indonesian language education is one of the important aspects that needs to be taught to students at school. It is not surprising that this subject is given since elementary school, from there students are expected to be able to master, understand and implement language skills. Such as reading, listening, writing and speaking. For this reason, teachers as the spearhead who direct students in achieving educational goals are expected to be able to use innovative media and learning models in Indonesian language learning in the modern era which requires something new, this is because teaching a lesson in a Schools specifically vary depending on the materials, media and methods used. This research aims to describe the problems of Indonesian language education, especially studying how students learn language in Indonesian language learning. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Primary data was obtained through interview studies of teachers and student guardians. The data collection techniques are observation and interviews
