Abstract

This study aims to examine a relationship between organizational climate and employee engagement mediated by work life balance. The total sample used is 165 members of the Subbagrenmin Ditsamapta Polda Central Java. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The instrument used on the employee engagement variable is based on the theory of Schaufeli and Bakker using a Likert scale, the organizational climate scale is based on the theory of Swift & Campbell, the work life balance scale is based on the theory of Fisher, Bulger & Smith. The results of this study indicate that first; there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational climate and work life balance, Second; there is a positive and significant relationship between work life balance and employee engagement, Third; there is a positive relationship between organizational climate and employee engagement, Fourth; There is a significant relationship between organizational climate and employee engagement mediated by work life balance. The implication of this research shows that to increase employee engagement, organizations need to also pay attention to the work life balance factor for their members.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara growth mindset dengan grit pada mahasiswa Universitas AKI yang telah bekerja. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa aktif di Universitas AKI dan sudah bekerja. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 169 orang. Teknik sampling nya adalah purposive sampling. Analisa data yang digunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Berdasarkan hipotesis yang telah diajukan sebelumnya yaitu “Terdapat hubungan antara growth mindset dan grit”, dapat diterima. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai signifikansi = 0,000 ( p < 1% ) yang artinya growth mindset memiliki korelasi yang sangat signifikan terhadap grit. Adapun arah korelasi nya adalah positif yang ditunjukan dari nilai korelasi Pearson (rxy) = +0,367, artinya semakin tinggi growth mindset yang dimiliki maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat gritnya, sebaliknya semakin rendah growth mindset yang dimiliki maka semakin rendah pula tingkat gritnya. Adapun besarnya sumbangan efektif yang dimiliki pada penelitian ini sebesar = 13,5 % artinya growth mindset memengaruhi grit sebesar 13,5 % sisanya 86,5 % dipengaruhi faktor lainnya di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is a correlation between the tendency to give charity to happiness. The samples used were Lazisbi Semarang donors, totaling 270 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The analysis used is spearman rank correlation. The instrument used on the donor's happiness variable is based on the theory of aspects of happiness from Seligman while the almsgiving behavior tendency variable uses a alms measuring instrument scale in an Islamic perspective. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between happiness and the tendency to give alms, there is a value of rs = 0.469 (p <1%). The percentage level of donor happiness variable and charity behavior tendency variable is included in high categorization, donor happiness variable reaches 87.41% and charity behavior tendency variable reaches 90.37%. In this study, there was an effective contribution of 20.5% and the remaining 80.5% came from other factors outside the focus of this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisa keterkaitan antara keharmonisan keluarga terhadap kenakalan remaja di daerah Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja di daerah Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning RW 4 Kecamatan Kalibanteng Kulon Semarang Barat yang berjumlah  123 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Kenakalan Remaja dan Skala Keharmonisan Keluarga. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif dan siginifikan antara Keharmonisan keluarga terhadap kenakalan remaja dengan nilai rs = - 0,413 ( p < 1% ). Keharmonisan keluarga juga memberi sumbangan efektif terhadap kenakalan remaja sebesar 19,1% dan sisanya sebesar 80,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically test the relationship between integrity and organizational commitment to performance. The sample used was 108 members of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Jateng. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. This employee performance variable is measured using the Individual Working Performance (IWPQ) scale from Koopmans. The integrity variable is measured using a Likert scale which is based on Rogers' theory of integrity aspects, including honesty, steadfastness, self-control and self-esteem. The organizational commitment variable is also measured using a Likert scale based on Allen & Meyer's theory of affective commitment, rational commitment and normative commitment. Based on the research results, the first result was obtained; There is a correlation between integrity and organizational commitment to performance. Second; Integrity does not affect performance. Third; Organizational commitment has a positive and very significant effect on performance. The coefficient of determination value in this research is shown by the value R2 = 0.132 or 13.2%, which means that integrity and organizational commitment influence performance by 13.2% and the remaining 86.8% is influenced by other factors.
