Abstract

AbstrakPandemi COVID-19 memunculkan fenomena aksi sosial yang dilakukan oleh para relawan untuk membantu korban atau masyarakat yang terdampak pandemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosi, kecerdasan spiritual dan tanggung jawab sosial terhadap altruisme pada relawan aksi sosial kasus pandemi COVID-19. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah para relawan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan sosial menangani pandemi COVID-19. Sampel sebanyak 257 orang yang tinggal di sekitar Jakarta diambil secara non-probability sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode online dalam bentuk g-form. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah adaptasi dan modifikasi Generative Altruism Scale (GAlS), Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24) dan Chinese University Students Social Responsibility Scale (CUSSRS) untuk mengukur tanggung jawab sosial. Pengujian validitas konstruk menggunakan CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap altruisme relawan aksi sosial kasus pandemi COVID-19, dengan proporsi varian 41,4%. Keterlibatan variabel eksternal dapat menjadi pertimbangan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.Kata-kata kunci: altruisme, relawan, pandemi covid-19 AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic can make someone to be volunteer. Is volunteering a form of altruism? This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and social responsibility on altruism in social volunteers in the COVID-19 pandemic case. Participants in this study are volunteers who are involved in social activities in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. A sample of 257 people living around Jakarta was taken by non-probability sampling. Data collection used online methods, with the form of g-form. The measuring instrument used is the adaptation and modification of the Generative Altruism Scale (GAlS), the Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), the Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24) and the Chinese University Students Social Responsibility Scale (CUSSRS) to measure social responsibility. Testing construct validity uses CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and hypothesis testing using multiple regression. The results showed that all independent variables had a significant effect on the altruism of social volunteers in the COVID-19 pandemic case, with the proportion of variants being 41.4%. The involvement of external variables can be a consideration for further research.Keywords: altruism, volunteer, the covid-19 pandemic
