Abstract

The variable in this study is a single variable, namely the learning interest of 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tayando Kota Tual in participating in physical education. What is meant in this study is the tendency in a person to behave, desire, and persistence or encouragement to take physical education lessons at school. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire to collect survey data of physical education learning interests. Questionnaires are circulated individually so that they can control respondents to fill out questionnaires so that the data obtained is data that is filled in correctly by respondents without being influenced by people or friends themselves. The data obtained from the results of research on the interest in learning Penjaskesrek in class VII students at Tayando 3 Public Middle School, Tual City. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis of percentages. This research data is categorized into five (5) categories, namely; strongly disagree (1), disagree (2), disagree (3), agree (4), and strongly agree (5). The results of descriptive statistical analysis of PJOK learning interest data as a whole obtained the lowest score data (Min) = 68; highest score (Max) = 116; Mean (M) = 99.
