Abstract

Maternal nutritional status before and during pregnancy can affect the growth of the fetus being conceived. Pregnant women need adequate nutrition for the health of the mother and fetus. Nutrition education is a field of knowledge that enables a person to choose and maintain a diet based on nutritional science principles. This service activity was carried out on March 3, 2023 at the Taccorong Village Office, Kec. Ujung Bulu, Kab. Takalar. The method used is by giving lectures, demonstrating the presentation of healthy eating patterns during pregnancy, discussions, and gathering feedback. The results of this service show that pregnant women understand healthy eating patterns as evidenced by the participants being able to answer all questions correctly. of course this will be easier to realize if pregnant women understand the concept. One way to get a good concept is by providing health counseling/education. Providing good health education will make it easier for pregnant women to adopt knowledge about their health so that they are able to deal with nutritional and family health problems and through education about healthy eating patterns during pregnancy is very important to convey to pregnant women because along with the development of information and communication technology , pregnant women are expected to be able to know about diet which consists of the type of food, amount of food and schedule. Abstract

Abstrak Stunting merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang serius di Indonesia. Kondisi ini ditandai dengan tinggi badan anak yang berada di bawah standar usianya akibat kekurangan gizi kronis. Periode yang paling kritis, yaitu 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) dimulai sejak masa kehamilan hingga anak berusia dua tahun. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang stunting dan pemberian makanan bergizi di TPMB ST. Hasrah Ibrahim Kota Makassar. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan 5 tahapan yaitu tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, evaluasi dan berkelanjutan program. Evaluasi kegiatan adalah dengan membagikan soal pre dan post tes pada ibu hamil, sebanyak 5 nomor. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah melakukan edukasi pada ibu hamil tentang stunting dan pemberian makanan bergizi dengan peserta 25 orang yang mengikuti edukasi dan pemberian makanan bergizi, sebelum dilakukan edukasi data menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan stunting 42,9%, namun setelah edukasi mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88 %, sehingga peningkatannya sebesar 45,1% yang sudah mengetahui tentang stunting. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan keberhasilan suatu program sesuai dengan tujuan yang di harapkan. Kata kunci: stunting; sejak dini; 1000 HPK. Abstract Stunting is a serious public health problem in Indonesia. This condition is characterized by a child's height being below the standard for their age due to chronic malnutrition. The most critical period, namely the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK), begins from pregnancy until the child is two years old. This activity aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about stunting and the provision of nutritious food at TPMB ST. Hasrah Ibrahim Makassar City. This service is carried out in 5 stages: socialization, training, technology implementation, evaluation and program sustainability. The evaluation of the activity is by distributing pre- and post-test questions to pregnant women, totaling 5 numbers. The result of this activity is educating pregnant women about stunting and the provision of nutritious food with 25 participants who participated in the education and provision of nutritious food, before the education data showed that knowledge of stunting was 42.9%, but after the education it increased to 88%, so that the increase was 45.1% who already knew about stunting. This increase reflects the success of a program in accordance with the expected goals.. Keywords: stunting; early; 1000 HPK.
