Abstract

The existence of Islamic banks as one part of Islamic financial institutions should contribute to improving the economy, one of which is to reduce poverty. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of financing variables, asset variables, and Islamic bank office variables on poverty levels. The sample used to be Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in the 2013-2017 period, with a total of 110 samples. The methodology used is quantitative with multiple regression statistical analysis and statistical data processing using SPSS software version 20. The results of the study note that financing has a negative and significant effect, namely, the higher the financing of Islamic banks, it will reduce poverty. However, the total assets and the number of networks that have a positive and significant effect, namely the increase in total assets and branch networks, it will affect the increasing amount of poverty. That is because the assets of Islamic banks are supported by the majority savings and the not optimal yet of distribution of financing from Islamic banks to the community. Also, the existence of the Islamic branch office tends to be found in provincial capitals and big cities, so that the communities in rural and remote areas are still not reached by Islamic banks.

Abstract

Introduction: Bell's Palsy is a condition where there is facial paralysis resulting in paralysis of the peripheral facial nerve acute and currently the cause is unknown (idiopathic) in the absence of other neurologic abnormalities. The goal to be achieved is to know the benefits of Electrical Stimulation and Mirror Exercise in the case of Bell's Palsy (BP). Case Presentation: A 50-year-old woman presented with left-sided facial paralysis and asymmetry. The patient received therapy 6 times with Electrical Stimulation and Mirror Exercise modalities. Management and Outcome: : Patient follows 6 times therapy in 1 week 2 times meeting, in 1 time therapy for 30 minutes which is given Electrical Stimulation modality for 15 minutes and Massage for 15 minutes. Muscle strength was measured using MMT (Manual Muscle Testing), and for facial functional ability using Ugo fisch. Discussion: The results obtained after doing therapy 6 times using Electrical Stimulation and Massage are an increase in muscle strength, and facial functional abilities M. Frontalis T0: 1 to T6:5 , M. Corugator supercili T0:1 to T6:5, M. Procerus T0:5 to T6:5, M.Orbicularis Oculi T0:1 to T6:3, M. Nasalis T0:1 to T6:5, , M.Zygomaticus Major & minor T0:1 to T6:5, M. Orbicularis Oris T0:1 becomes T6:3, M. Bucinator T0:5 becomes T6:5, M.Mentalis T0:5 becomes T6:5. Conclusion: Management of Physiotherapy in the case of Bell's Palsy using an exercise program for 6 times therapy with Electrical Stimulation and Mirror Exercise modalities can be an intervention that can be done in overcoming the problem of Bell's Palsy.

Abstract

The palm oil industry is developing very rapidly in Indonesia, so the absorption of labor in palm oil factories has also increased. The demand to be able to produce Crude Palm Oil (CPO) optimally pushes the risk of physical work, especially at the sorting station. This study aimed to determine the effect of age, gender, and cigarette consumption on increasing workload using the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) method. This research was carried out by collecting pulse data for 8 workers using a pulse oximeter which was carried out before work (DNI) and while working (DNK). The results showing the level of physical workload on sorting workers using the CVL method found that 4 employees had a CVL percentage between 30% - 60%, namely having a moderate physical workload that required improvement. In comparison, the other 4 employees had a CVL percentage <30%, namely no significant loading occurs. The energy consumption expended by sorting workers is ±107 Kcal/hour.
