Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ghozali yang berlokasi di Jl. Permata No. 9, Desa Curug, Kec. Gunung Sindur, Kab. Bogor, Jawa Barat, bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan siswa-siswi tentang peranan basis data dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam upaya memaksimalkan minat yang dimiliki siswa-siswi SMA Islam Al-Ghozali Gunung Sindur Bogor. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diselenggarakan akan membahas perlunya basis data, serta keuntungan penerapan basis data dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang sejalan dengan tujuan perancangnan basis data yang mampu memberikan kecepatan dan kemudahan, efisiensi ruang penyimpanan, keakuratan, ketersediaan, kelengkapan, keamanan, dan kebersamaan. Di dalam lingkungan basis data sendiri terdapat arsitektur basis data, data independence, bahasa dalam basis data, dan model data dalam basis data.. Tujuan dilakukan normalisasi basis data yaitu untuk menghilangkan kerangkapan data atau redundancy data pada atribut didalam suatu tabel, untuk mengurangi kompleksitas, dan untuk mempermudah pengubahan data. Secara normal bahasa basis data adalah Structure Query Language (SQL) yang digunakan untuk mengdefinisikan, mengolah, dan memanipulasi basis data. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di pondok pesantren Al-ghozali adalah pemaparan, diskusi dan pelatihan. Pemaparan dan diskusi dilakukan dalam memaparkan secara teori mengenai basis data dan sistem manajemen basis data. Pelatihan dilakukan ketika siswa-siswi akan mencoba salah satu model yang ada pada basis data.

Abstract

In realizing one of the lecturer's tasks, namely the Tri Dharma of higher education at Pamulang University, the team of service lecturers carried out Community Service activities (PKM). Community Service is carried out as a service to the community in the form of the application of science and technology so as to contribute and progress to society. This community service is entitled "Cloud Storage as Data Storage for Students at the Tahfidz Quran Islamic Boarding School As-Sholah Gunung Sindur Bogor". The methods used are lectures, discussions and training. As a result of this community service activity, students have started using cloud storage as an alternative storage besides paper, laptop hard drives for storing letters, activity certificates, important photos and so on. The output to be achieved in this community service is a national journal.

Abstract

The use of social media has become important in the daily lives of modern society, including students at the Imam Syafi'i Islamic School. This reflects major changes in the world of education, where information and communications technology, especially social media, is playing an important role in the way we learn and interact with each other. Educators consider community service programs to be very important in facing this digital era. As an educational institution, the Imam Syafi'i Islamic School has a big role in shaping the character and knowledge of its students. The success of the learning process in this school really depends on the ability of educators to keep up with technological advances, especially the use of social media. Preliminary analysis shows that Imam Syafi'i Islamic School students widely use social media, but further research is needed to incorporate it into the learning process further. Attention to the use of social media in education has increased in recent years. It is very important for educators at the Imam Syafi'i Islamic School to understand how to utilize social media in the learning process because research shows that it can increase student engagement, motivate them to learn, and enable them to work together. With this service to society, the main thing we want to help is how we can inform the students of Imam Syafi'i Islamic School about how to use social media as an effective learning tool and how best to use social media morally and productively. The main aim of this community service project is to increase the understanding of Imam Syafi'i Islamic School students about social media as an effective learning tool. The project also aims to provide guidance to educators on how best to incorporate social media into their daily activities. The output to be achieved in this community service is a national journal and online media.

Abstract

In managing teacher attendance, An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Gunung Sindur, Bogor, still records attendance manually using stationery and paper by the teacher on duty. The attendance sheets are then submitted to the boarding school management department as records. This makes it difficult to summarize attendance because each monthly attendance record sheet must be evaluated individually. QR codes are an idea that can facilitate the evaluation of attendance data, which is then read on a web-based application. The use of QR codes is essential for efficiency and effectiveness in attendance activities. Of course, a method is also needed to simplify the data validation process. With this background, this research aims to implement a web-based teacher attendance application that utilizes QR codes and uses the Fuzzy Logic method to improve the validity of teacher attendance data. QR codes are used as a practical attendance medium, while Fuzzy Logic is applied to handle uncertainty in the attendance process, such as lateness or other special conditions. This system is developed using website-based software to make it easily accessible and integrated. The research results are expected to provide a more effective attendance solution while reducing errors in manual recording. System testing includes aspects of functionality, QR-Code scanning speed, and the accuracy of Fuzzy Logic in evaluating attendance status.
