Abstract

Kata Kunci :  Aspal Bakar dan Emulsi, Bahan Pengikat Campuran Perkerasan Jalan ABSTRACTAsphalt as a binder often adapted to their physical properties, (viscosity and viscosity). The results showed that: (1) Asphalt fuel / oil suitable for use in pavement with dense traffic conditions, because it has the ability to accept repeated deflection due to load reps, without the occurrence of melting in the form of grooves and cracks. an excess of bitumen fuel / oil, among others: (a) the value of air cavity filled with asphalt (VFA) is higher, (b) the value of melting (flow) is higher, and (c) higher IRS values. shortage of bitumen fuel / oil, among others: (a) has a value of stability is lower, (b) the value of the cavity between the granular aggregate (VMA) is lower (c) porosity (VIM) lower, (d) the value of density is lower, and (e) have a lower MQ value. (2) Asphalt emulsions suitable for use in pavement by traffic conditions light, because lack the ability to receive a deflection repeatedly due to repetition of the load, so it is easy to crack: an excess of bitumen emulsion, among others: (a) has a value of stability is higher, (b) the cavity between the value of granular aggregate (VMA) higher (c) porosity (VIM), (d) the value of higher density, and (e) have a higher value MQ. shortage of bitumen emulsion, among others: (a) the value of air cavity filled with asphalt ((VFA) lower, (b) the value of melting (flow) is lower, and (c) lower the value of the IRS.
