Abstract

This research is aimed at looking at the financial performance of pharmaceutical issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before the Covid-19 pandemic, when the pandemic occurred, and after the pandemic. The financial performance observed is the financial performance in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The financial ratios observed are ROE, ROE, NPM, CR, DER, INVTO, TATO, and PER. As a result of observations of financial ratios from 2019~2023, it was found that ROE, ROA, NPM, CR, INVTO, TATO, and PER experienced a decreasing trend while DER experienced an increasing trend. Even though there has been an increase in average sales for these pharmaceutical issuers, in terms of financial performance, many have experienced a decline. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine which bank book 4 stocks would be selected for the formation of a portfolio. The formation of this portfolio uses a single index model. This single index model was developed by William Sharpe and is a simplification of the Markowitz model that was previously developed by Markowitz. The results of this study provide information that the selected bank book 4 stocks are PNBN and NISP stocks with a portion of PNBN stocks of 85.9% and NISP stocks of 14.1%. The portfolio formed has an expected return of 3.7% with a portfolio risk of 7.18%. Keywords: Single Index Model, Portfolio, Return, Risk, Book Bank 4.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of expected returns and actual returns of stock portfolios formed using the single index model method on stocks included in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). In addition, this study will also compare the actual returns of stock portfolios against the JII index and the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG). The results of the study show that the stocks selected in the portfolio are TPIA (26.21%), AKRA (20.53%), ADMR (10.55%), BRIS (21.45%), ITMG (9.52%) and BRPT (11.72%) with an expected portfolio return of 3.23% and a stock portfolio risk of 8.73%. This stock portfolio generated an actual return of 2.0%. This result is smaller when compared to the expected portfolio return, but this result is better when compared to the performance of the JII which fell by 13.22% and the IHSG which fell by 1.37%. Thus, it can be concluded that the performance of the stock portfolio formed with a single index model on stocks included in the Jakarta Islamic Index can provide better actual returns when compared to the JII and IHSG. Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan asset adalah dengan melakukan investasi dipasar modal. Namun investasi dipasar modal selain berpeluang mendapatkan keuntungan juga berpotensi mengalami resiko kerugian. Salah satu usaha untuk menurunkan resiko atau mengoptimalkan return tersebut adalah dengan membetuk sebuah portofolio. Banyak metode dan teori yang digunakan dalam pembentuk portofolio tersebut, salah satunya adalah SINGLE INDEX MODEL. Dalam menentukan return, kondisi pasar sangat mempengaruhi tingkat return yang akan dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah portofolio yang dibentuk dengan Single Index Model (Model Indeks Tunggal) mampu menghasilkan realized return yang lebih baik dari pasar. Penelitian ini tidak menggunakan Expected return dalam menilai kinerja portofolio melainkan menggunakan Realized return karena Realized return merupakan return yang telah terjadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa portofolio yang dibentuk dari tahun 2007-2009 menghasilkan total realized return sebesar 127% atau rata-rata 42,33%. Hasil ini lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan realized return yang dihasilkan Indeks Pasar (IHSG) sebesar 56,71% atau rata-rata 18,90% dan lebih juga disbanding Indeks Sektoral (Pertambangan). Indeks pertambangan menghasilkan realized return sebesar 52,07% atau rata-rata 17,36%.
