Abstract

        Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian unsur K dari beberapa macam sumber kalium terhadap peningkatan ukuran bonggol tanaman adenium. Penelitian berupa percobaan pot yang dilakukan dalam rumah kaca menggunakan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua macam faktor perlakuan yaitu macam pupuk penyedia kalium dan takaran pemberian kalium dengan ulangan tiga kali. Faktor perlakuan macam pupuk penyedia kalium yang terdiri dari 4 macam yaitu: pupuk KCl, pupuk KNO3, pupuk NPK lengkap, dan pupuk guano. Faktor perlakuan takaran kalium, terdiri atas 3 aras yaitu: takaran   0, 8 g K2O/tanaman,    (2) takaran   1,12 g K2O/tanaman, dan takaran  1,44 g K2O/tanaman. Bibit ditanam pada media tumbuh berupa campuran antara pasir malang dengan pupuk kandang kambing dengan perbandingan 1:1. Pupuk kalium diberikan 3 kali pada tanaman dengan takaran sesuai perlakuan dan diberikan dengan interval waktu 1 bulan yang dimulai dari umur 1 bulan setelah pemindahan sampai tanaman berumur 5 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian macam pupuk penyedia kalium dan jumlah takarannya berpengaruh nyata terhadap penambahan tinggi tanaman, berat bibit segar, lingkar bonggol dan jumlah daun. Pupuk KCl memberikan peningkatan lingkar bonggol yang tertinggi dibandingkan dengan KNO3, pupuk NPK lengkap ataupun guano. Takaran terbaik untuk pemberian pupuk kimia adalah 0,8 g K2O/tanaman sedangkan untuk pupuk guano adalah 1,44 g K2O/tanaman

Abstract

The research objective was to know the effect concentration of foliar fertilizer toward growth and yield of mustard plant (Brassica juncea) which growth in media with several kind of organic liquid fertilizer on hidroponic methode. The experiment was conducted in glass house which arrange as factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors as treatment that were: concentration of liquid nutritionon media which have four levels: 1,5 cc lt-1water, 2,5 cc lt-1water, 3,5 cc lt-1water, and 4,5 cc lt-1water. The second factor was application kind of foliar liquid organic fertilizer there were three kinds: organic fertilizer of 2N, organic fertilizer of NASA, and organic fertilizer of Solusi. The mustard planted in hidroponic system and several parameters of plant growth and yield were observed. Result of the research showed that the concentration of nutrition treatment and also kind of liquid organic source gave significant influence on growth and yield of mustard, but no interaction between the treatment. The best concentration for mustard was reached on 3,5 cc lt-1 water of liquid nutrition and 2N organic fertilizer was the best kind of foliar liquid organic for that hidroponic system.

Abstract

Research about extract of humic acid from cow manure for the efectiveness fertilization severel source of nitrogen fertilizer on spinach had conducted in Banyuanyar village district of Banjarsari Surakarta on July - September 2017.The factorial Completely Randomized Design method used with three replication. There were two treatments application that were source of nitrogen fertilizer (N) which three kind that were: urea (N1), KNO3 (N2), and NPK Mutiara compound fertilizer (N3). The second factor was application of humic acid  (H), with three levels that were: no humic acid (H0), 5 % of humic acid (N1), 10 % of humic acid (N2), and 15 % of humic acid (N3). From the research can be concluded that source of nitrogen fertilizer treatment and gave significant influence for the plant height, fresh weight of plant, dry weight of plant, and fresh weight of root. The dosage of humic acid application gave significant influence for all parameters observed. There were significant interaction between source of nitrogen fertilizer and dose of humic acid application on  parameters fresh weight of plant and fresh weight of root. Urea was the best fertilizer for spinach, and the best dosage of humic acid was 5 %.
