Abstract

The current study aims to examine the effect of individuals characteristics and non-financial services on the performance of medium-sized and small enterprises (SMEs) in Libya. In addition, this study investigates the mediating role of government regulations that impact the relationship between individuals’ characteristics and non-financial services. A total 392 enterprises participated in this study. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used in order to examine the causal relationship among the latent variables. The results of the study shows a positive relationship between non-financial services, individuals characteristics, government regulations and SMEs performance. Furthermore, government regulastions had a significant and positive impact on SMEs performance in Libya. On the other hand, the results indecated a insignificant relationship between non-financial services and individuals characteristics influencing SMEs performance. Moreover, the results of the study indicates that government regulations play a mediating role between non-financial services, individuals characterises, and SMEs performance among the employees of SMEs in Libya.

Abstract

With the rapid improvement of modern technology, the trend of how consumer purchase has been changed. Businesses are adopting digital marketing instead of conventional means of marketing. Products that were previously only sold in brick-and-mortar store are now selling online, such as apparel products. This research aims to identify the digital marketing elements that affect consumer buying decision process, namely content marketing (CM), social media marketing (SMM), and online convenience (OC). Self-administrative questionnaire was used to collect data from 236 respondents using Google Form. Descriptive and inferential analysis are conducted. Besides, the three elements of digital marketing (CM, SMM and OC) have significant impact on consumer buying decision process. This study provides evidence to business owner, marketers, and academician’s researchers that what are effectively affecting the consumer buying decision process in digital marketing in Malaysia so that they can allocate their marketing budget wisely.

Abstract

The effective and efficient use of human resources could paly vital roles in success and productivity in the organization. Based on the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Diversity of Employees, it is mandated that Human Resource Management (HRM) practices be adopted for hiring and retaining employees. In this study, the main objective is to determine the relationship between training and development, performance appraisal, leadership styles and reward system, and their effect on the performance of employees in manufacturing sector. The study adopted a quantitative approach and data gathered from manufacturing employees in Malaysia. The current study showed a positive effect of HRM practices on enhanced employee performance amoung manufacturing employees. The fidings of this study may help to manage the diversity in the workplace and promote HRM pracices for organizational success and establish win-win employees and employers relationship.
