Abstract

The significance of employee performance is vital in attaining organizational objectives and sustaining a competitive edge within a progressively intricate marketplace. Hence, the primary objective of this study is to investigate the determinants that have a favorable impact on enhancing employee performance within the context of PT BPR Tata Anjung Sari. The research scope include the examination of work discipline, work environment, remuneration, and work aptitude as pertinent variables. The present study used a descriptive and correlational methodology. The employed sampling technique was purposive sampling, encompassing a comprehensive sample size of 103 individuals who were employees. The data was obtained by administering a questionnaire that had undergone rigorous testing to ensure its validity and reliability. The coefficient of determination was utilized for data analysis using SPSS version 26 software. The findings indicate that there is a positive correlation between work discipline characteristics and employee performance, as well as work environment and salary variables. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the variable of job ability does not exhibit a statistically significant impact on employee performance. In summary, the findings of this study suggest that the combined influence of work discipline, work environment, salary, and work ability significantly affects employee performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the world of work. Implementing a work from home (WFH) policy is one of the solutions that many companies take to maintain the health and safety of their employees. However, the impact of this transition on employee productivity is still being debated. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing work from home on employee productivity during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with a verification approach by taking a sample of 113 employees who work from home . The results of the study show that WFH has a positive and significant impact on their productivity levels. This is reinforced by the hypothesis test which shows that the calculated t value is greater than the t table value (4.755 > 1.662), and the significance value is much smaller than the predetermined standard (0.000 <0.05). The WFH variable has an influence on employee productivity by 16.7 percent while the remaining 83.3 percent is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Rapid developments in ICT have provided new opportunities for organizations to improve operational efficiency, communication and human resource management. However, the concrete impact of ICT implementation on performance management still requires more in-depth research. This study aims to investigate how the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can influence and improve performance management in an organizational context. This research will use a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This study underscores the importance of performance management in achieving organizational goals. By linking strategic planning and tactical execution, ensuring administrative efficiency, managing human resources well, and encouraging individual development, performance management becomes an important foundation for company growth and success. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in this process strengthens effectiveness by simplifying performance reviews, providing more targeted feedback, and creating a fair and personalized environment. In today's dynamic era, the combination of strong performance management and ICT utilization provides the necessary tools for organizations to adapt, develop and achieve competitive advantage.

Abstract

Era 4.0 is marked by significant developments in digital technology, changing the business, social and cultural landscape globally. In this context, local wisdom leadership becomes increasingly important in dealing with complex and rapid changes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the challenges faced by local wisdom leadership in dealing with the dynamics of Era 4.0. A qualitative approach is used to collect data through in-depth interviews with local leaders who have successfully integrated local values into their leadership. The results of this study reveal that local wisdom leadership in Indonesia comes from the excavation of the noble values of the Indonesian people which are contained in Pancasila values which include religious values, kinship, harmony, democracy and justice. This research also shows that local wisdom-based leadership in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era faced challenges to values and culture due to technology and globalization. Leaders must strike a balance between traditional values and technological developments, while dealing with technological disruption, skills shortages and global competition. Complex communication challenges and value conflicts also arise. On the other hand, leaders need to maintain local cultural heritage in a sustainable development strategy that incorporates economic growth, social justice and environmental protection. In facing this challenge, leaders must adapt, integrate local values, and design a balanced and sustainable strategy.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of optimizing Knowledge Management (KM) in achieving competitive advantage in the hospitality industry. The highly dynamic and competitive hospitality industry requires a careful approach in managing and utilizing knowledge effectively. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the implementation of KM strategy can improve service quality, operational efficiency, and differentiation in the hospitality industry . This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research findings reveal that aspects such as deep understanding of customers, strong relationships with stakeholders, accurate knowledge of products and services, and mastery of individual potential in organizations all play an important role in shaping unique experiences for customers, designing effective marketing strategies. , and create high-quality services. Through the implementation of an efficient KM system, hotels can combine this knowledge to win the competition in the dynamic hospitality industry.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the variables that influence the performance of employees within the Silver Crafts UMKM Association located in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The variables employed in this research encompass remuneration, job motivation, and work discipline. The present study employs primary data. The study's population and sample consisted of 45 employees who were affiliated with the UMKM association of silver traders in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The sample technique employed in this study utilizes a saturated sampling approach. The present study employs many statistical tests, including validity and reliability assessments, as well as partial and multiple determination coefficient tests. Additionally, the study utilizes partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing through the utilization of the SPSS type 26 application. The findings indicate that (1) partial compensation has a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, (2) partial work motivation has a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, (3) partial work discipline does not have a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, and (4) when considered together, compensation, work motivation, and work discipline have a statistically significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine how compensation and motivation impact the performance of employees at the Gianyar Branch of BPR Kertiawan. Employee performance is a crucial factor in accomplishing organizational objectives and sustaining competitiveness. Offering fair compensation and sufficient motivation can play a pivotal role in enhancing employee performance. The research employs a quantitative approach using surveys. The study's participants are randomly selected employees from BPR Kertiawan's Gianyar Branch. A questionnaire is employed to collect data, covering variables related to compensation, motivation, and employee performance. The research employs regression analysis to test its hypotheses.The findings reveal that compensation and work motivation have a positive and statistically significant impact on employee performance when examined individually. Furthermore, when considered together, compensation and motivation continue to significantly influence employee performance. The analysis of the coefficient of determination indicates that approximately 63.4% of the variations in performance can be attributed to compensation and motivation variables. The remaining 36.6% is influenced by factors that were not explored in this study.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing decisions are very important in developing the coffee industry in Petang District. For this reason, every company is competing to make its products popular with consumers. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions mediated by product image in the Coffee Ground Processing Industry in Petang District. The sample used in this research was 90 people. The research instrument uses a questionnaire and several other data collection methods such as observation, interviews and literature and analysis methods using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The research results stated that product quality, price and product image had a positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions in the Coffee Ground Processing Industry in Petang District. Quality products and prices have a positive effect on product image in the Coffee Ground Processing Industry in Petang District. Image The product is able to mediate the influence of product quality on consumer purchasing decisions in the Coffee Ground Processing Industry in Petang District. Image The product is able to mediate the influence of price on consumer purchasing decisions in the Coffee Ground Processing Industry in Petang District. The advice that can be given is that the company should pay attention to the length of time it takes to roast the coffee beans so that the resulting coffee powder has a deeper color. The company is re-evaluating the price it sets to be able to attract more consumers. Companies should start using air vacuum in product packaging to maintain product durability. The company tries to make the coffee powder it produces become the main choice of consumers.
