Abstract

Problems that occur in the selection of raw material suppliers There is no assessment process for raw material suppliers based on the performance of these suppliers, so that companies cannot choose which suppliers best match the criteria used based on the performance of raw material suppliers for the company. This study aims to carry out the selection of raw material suppliers using a decision support system model by utilizing the SMART method in supporting decision making, so that the ranking results provide recommendations for companies in choosing raw material suppliers to be selected by companies based on the decision support system model made. The Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique method is a simple but effective approach in making multi-criteria decisions. With a focus on assessing and comparing alternatives based on a number of criteria, SMART provides an intuitive framework to overcome the complexity of choosing the best option. The ranking results based on the table above Vendor C with a final score of 0.735 getting rank 1, Vendor D with a final value of 0.588 getting rank 2, Vendor B with a final score of 0.5 getting rank 3.

Abstract

The decision-making system is at the core of the management process in any organization. It includes the collection, analysis, and evaluation of information to select appropriate actions in achieving predefined goals. The PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluation) method is a mathematical approach used to support multi-criteria decision making. This method is used to compare alternatives based on several different criteria, resulting in a ranking of alternatives based on the level of preference or importance given to each criterion. This study aims to provide recommendations to companies selecting the best raw material suppliers using the PROMETHEE method, so that companies get recommendations on performance from existing raw material suppliers. The results of the supplier selection ranking for raw materials that get Rank 1 are Supplier B with a value of 0.83, Rank 2 is Supplier C with a value of 0.33, Rank 3 is Supplier A with a value of -1.17.

Abstract

This study aims to provide recommendations for strategic business places for business actors using criteria of building area, rental prices, road access, and distance from the center of the crowd. So that the results of business place recommendations in supporting business actors in determining strategic business locations. TOPSIS is a method in multi-criteria decision making that selects the best alternative based on the distance of positive and negative ideal solutions from the criteria used in determining alternatives. Based on the results of the ranking of strategic business location selection that gets rank 1, namely Location 3 with a value of 0.633992256, rank 2 is Location 1 with a value of 0.572951301, rank 3 is Location 4 with a value of 0.5, rank 4 is Location 2 with a value of 0.366023913.
